Anthony Davis

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I wouldn’t call the Kyrie to LA thing planned, but rather Kyrie not knowing what the hell he wants, and having a change of heart. He is unpredictable from a personality standpoint.

I don’t even know what I want to happen with Kyrie. I’m assuming AD will be a Laker.

Exactly. That’s what the plan was.

Congratulations. You’re being hustled.

Whether you’re mad or not is up to you.

Lakers likely won't have enough cap to sign all three as free agents while remaining competitive year to year.

I also don't think Kyrie ends up here next season. If those two are going to reunite, IMHO, it'd be in Cleveland after Kyrie's next contract.

I mean this is exactly what was said when the Heat came together.

The players involved took a pay cut. When you’re in LA, taking a pay cut doesn’t mean you’re taking a pay cut if you’re making movies and creating a long lasting entertainment image.

Which LeBron and Kyrie have been building for years.

If the Lakers successfully trade for Davis; I could potentially see them signing Kyrie - but I don't think he'd be the first guy on their list this summer. I think they'd probably go for someone like Kemba Walker who won't demand a full-max contract and doesn't come with the baggage of having previously had personality clashes with LeBron.

But that being said... if they managed to trade for Davis, I think they'd have a fantastic shot at signing Durant; so...

The man called LeBron and personally apologized and then airs it to the media?! When the hell has that ever happened? Now LeBron is singing to Kyrie On Instagram? Cmon man...

You got played. We all got played.

Timelines matter. A lot happened between June of 2017 and a phone call in January of 2019. Most notably, Hayward signed a crippling contract considering the extent of his injury.

I also believe Irving thought of himself as a natural leader when he really wasnt. Trying to lead in Boston has shown him it isn't as easy as he fantasized. All of that makes far more sense than an elaborate web of fake fights for four straight years.

Durant said LeBron was toxic and LeBron said he was pissed. I fee that was real.

Kyrie TRADED himself due to LeBron and they are dapping each other up and hugging like they are twins from another mother.

Gilbert got played like a fiddle for hundreds of millions of dollars and and a decimated organization.

That’s what is reality right now. Let’s see how this plays out but what is happening is Kyrie was traded to a team that was never on his lists and is now apologizing while AD demands a trade Kawhi style.

Was the championship worth it to you? Maybe.

To me, I’d rather have a more balanced league.

Can’t blame Golden State for drafting the greatest team ever and then adding Durant the proper way.

All teams should strive for that. A small market team making it big time by making good decisions.

You end that... you end the Cavs.

I mean of course you thought Kyrie in that light.

He played you.

Now look at him. A superstar apologizing and throwing his entire organization under the bus. Now LeBron is singing to him...

Dude.... you got PLAYED. Kyrie makes movies man. We know what Kyrie is. He’s Uncle Drew and he’ll be Uncle Drew in Hollywood where he thinks Uncle Drew belongs.

LeBron himself says he couldn’t recruit guys to Cleveland because it’s Cleveland in a recent interview. He says it in a way that makes his decision to go to LA obvious much like Kyries apology to LeBron was OBVIOUSLY timed.

This shit should be an FBI case that involves hundreds of millions of dollars involved in a mass case of collusion.

This is literally WWE style tactics used for actual NBA business and entertainment.

If Ky ends up joining the Lakers he's an even bigger piece of shit then we all already thought he was . . .

Hold it right there, Bub. I find it difficult to believe that fecal samples that large EXIST - either currently, or in prehistory. And, for the record, I have visited many a natural history museum and gazed upon many a petrified dinosaur turd.

We’d have to be talking Randy Marsh’s record-breaking turd in the South Park episode “More Crap” - the one that lifted him up off the throne itself - except in REAL LIFE.

Are you calling the Warriors a small market team?

The Pels are going to have to see a great return to ship Davis out. I think it has to be the Celtics.

Davis can want what he wants but LA doesn’t have the assets. They need to get back a star and an unprotected pick/2 protected firsts.

I think Kyrie gets shipped out, along with whatever players/picks necessary.

I think the Celts saw what they did without Kyrie and Hayward, and since nobody is taking Hayward, then KI has to be the one to go. They have Rozier and Smart to at least handle the ball, and they can run sets through Davis as well.

In 2003 they were worth 176,000,000 and now they are worth 3.1 billion.

Their hometown NFL team is moving to Las Vegas.

Yes. They are a small market team who’s value skyrocketed because of their own drafting.

A pinnacle of how a professional sports team should be ran.

An accomplishment of the NBA that should be heralded beyond our love hate of our favorite teams.

Only below the Knicks and... wait for it...

Lakers.

NBA teams have skyrocketed in value over the past 15 years. Every franchise is now worth over a billion dollars, and the average is $1.65 billion. That's 22% higher than last year.

If the Bay Area is a "small market" then basically every single team in the NBA is a small market team.

Unless you’re the Lakers.

I’m not sure what you’re argument is. The Lakers are the most valued franchise in the league for a player who seeks entertainment revenue.

There’s not even a close 2nd... You’re argument just plays into the fact that superstars make more money and create more fame playing in Los Angeles than any other team in the league. Kyrie and LeBron both have aspirations in producing and acting in movies. LA is the hub for that.

Nobody can argue differently.

Kyrie and Lebron have both starred in Hollywood movies.

My argument has nothing to do with LA. My only argument is that Golden State isn't a small market team, and therefore they shouldn't be seen as a "small market success story". The Cavs are a small market team. The Bucks are another one. Small market teams don't play in Silicon Valley.
