You've got to give it to the guy. He makes a life (and career now) of staying completely plugged in. When you're that consumed, you do get good at making educated guesses based on context. When he makes a good guess, it is a good guess and makes him look informed to people who don't pay as much attention as he. Those same people use their self-serving bias to forget about when he's wrong.
