Not just that, but can you guys share what season tickets cost in general? I did some research on the website but was unable to find anything. I assume there are different packages for number of games, etc., but any other info would be appreciated. Are they cheaper than face value for single tickets on the website? If you buy a large number of games, do you get any free tickets thrown in? Do you have to buy in pairs? Is there a PSL?
I understand if you feel uncomfortable sharing what you spend every year, so just general rates would be awesome for various levels of seats.
If you contact a ticket rep, they will send you a pricing chart. They're not too pushy, at least no one I ever dealt with.
They are significantly cheaper than face value for single tickets, but that largely depends on the game too. The Cavs do dynamic pricing based on matchup, weekday vs weekend, etc. Seats in my section go anywhere from $110 to $300 per game depending on the matchup for single games. They usually hover around $130 though I think.
There are no free tickets given usually, unless you are a new member. I think they are running a promotion right now that if you sign up for next year you get free tickets to a game this year and a chance at a playoff game.
I think you can buy a single seat but I'm not sure.
There are no PSL's. It's just the raw price for the game and that's it. However you are required to buy preseason tickets. How many depends on your package. My half season plan only included one preseason game.
Usually if you want playoff tickets, you are required to buy the entire package that is associated with your plan. Like, I have a half season plan, so I would get every other game. In the past, with a 10 game plan, you had to pay for all 16 potential games up front, and then they'd refund you. I think now, at least with half and full, you are only charged by the round for the games they actually play.
All in all, they take pretty good care of you and there are some fun perks.
