Re: Who is our head coach in the 2103 Opener

I don't think you are really mad at the fans. I think you are actually mad because you have been one of the ultimate Heckert fan boys and his team will win 2 or 3 games in his third year.

With one of the worst schedules in the league, and starting an offense majorly made up of rookies....

Re: Who is our head coach in the 2103 Opener

With no fans you don't have a team. So the whole "boycott until they start winning" gets teams moved. Don't be surprised that if in a few years the Indians are moved out of town for lack of fan support.

It is the quitters mentality. I am not going to like this team until they win. Guess what everyone fails at something before they become successful. If along those lines those individuals quit they would never achieve success.

That is what is happening here. As a collective the fan base quit. So therefore the fanbase will never know success because they quit during the failure and couldn't put up with adversity.

You just described the loser mentality to a T. I want everything and don't want to work for it and if I don't get my way I am going to complain and scream.

In the face of adversity those would rather quit then see the adversity through.

Is that what we have become quitters?

I think you're probably very young based on this post and no patronizing explanation I can provide will do the trick to explain why your logic doesn't apply here. Experience will explain it to you instead. Plus Maltalm did a pretty good job of hinting at it.

For the record, my attitude as a sports fan has nothing to do with my attitude as a husband, friend or professional. There's literally zero common thread.

Re: Who is our head coach in the 2103 Opener

What if Holmgren becomes the next coach?

Re: Who is our head coach in the 2103 Opener

It amazes me that the fans are being criticized here. Browns fans are patient to an almost ridiculous degree. They'll put up with YEARS of bad football if they think things will get better down the road.

In what NFL city would this team's performance be readily accepted? 4-17 since the beginning of last year, 9-28 since 2010... where exactly would this be considered acceptable?

Re: Who is our head coach in the 2103 Opener

I'm going to guess I'm one of the younger guys on the board, and even I'd be 107 by then.

So even if I was still alive, I'd probably be too senile to understand anything that's going on.

I'll be 111

Whos the OC of the 49ers and Texans... I love they way those teams play and i would love for Cleveland to try to build that kind of Offense...Power O-Line great RB we got a couple of the pieces..

Greg Roman and Jim Harbaugh run the 49ers offense and Rick Dennison runs the Texans.

Re: Who is our head coach in the 2103 Opener

I feel like the perfect choice to head into the future would be a guy like Winston Moss. Assistant Head Coach of Green Bay, also the inside linebackers coach. Somebody that can grow along side the young players as well.

Re: Who is our head coach in the 2103 Opener

If we're going to replace Shurmur, I want Gruden or Chudzinski.

Obviously most people would love a guy who has done it before. However hiring a coordinator is fine, you just have to go out and hire someone who's been successful. Shurmer never made sense and it just seemed like nepotism. His uncle coached with Holmgren so Holmgren was doing his old buddy a favor by hiring his nephew. Shurmer had experience, but when he was made an offensive coordinator he was in charge of a terrible offense, even though he had Sam Bradford and a younger more effective Steven Jackson.

Re: Who is our head coach in the 2103 Opener

I think Mornhinweg will be a candidiate, he was last time.

Re: Who is our head coach in the 2103 Opener

I love Dennison. I said it in another thread, but with Richardson... the Kubiak WCO would dominate the AFC North.
