Know this thread was dug up from earlier in the season but was thinking how what Chris Grant had been looking for in trades needs to change. All his deals so far have primarily been financially based with the Cavs taking on other teams contracts or helping them with luxury tax issues and getting draft picks for doing it. That's fine and he's done a nice job accumulating picks. Now the trades he makes need to be about talent and trying to acquire the right pieces to improve the team. He hasn't had to do that yet on the trade market so it will be interesting to see what happens.
Yeah, we're at the point where the "rebuild" just becomes the "build". At least he has handled the first part well and has accumulated a lot of picks. We'll see if his draft picks (past and future) and his future trades enable the Cavs to move forward.
A+++ for the Sessions trade.
