Trading Dion for a big is a must.. replace him with Allen and I'd trade TT too .. he isn't real bright.. he hustles but he can't defend or finish.. he may have to start to be honest just so Andy can help the 2nd team if he isn't dealt as sad as that is

talk is cute and all but: list please. because these sorts of deals are just plentiful.

knicks i bet.

something to keep in mind is shumpert is about to get paid - to what extent, nobody knows for sure - but after handing out a big deal for varejao and the thompson situation.....contracts do matter.

both teams have to accept a trade for it to happen.

Screw rich Paul's contract demands, id give him 8 max and not go any further

Id trade Waiters for a bag of chips at this point. I don't think we will get anything of value for him

need to ship him while some people still think he can be good

Guy has no confidence anymore and it's sad to see.

I saw the opposite when he checked in tonight. He was out of control on both ends. Dumb fouls, poor shot selection, sagging off his man on defense, etc.

Perimeter defense is killing us right now, every night another guard goes off on us, need to find some perimeter defense help, or this will happen all season...

Yea you'd think a guy w/o confidence wouldn't continue to hoist step back jumpers and would instead be passing up good shots, afraid to continue missing.

Dion's problem has never, ever been a lack of confidence. It's always been his over-inflated opinion of his ability.

I think the bigger concern is that he still struggles to finish around the rim, still is an average jump shooter, and still is nothing more than an average defender.

well that is one of very, very few ways to make their perimeter defense even worse...

having that opinion is fine, but if they don't keep him then what? teams aren't going to be beating down the door to give the cavs highly useful players for a guy with underwhelming career development and a likely large contract on the horizon.

it's the same case with dion. people want to trade him - that's fine - but they need to be realistic with their expectation of the incoming package.

Grave digging this thread would be pretty funny right now. I think even the huge section of people that though Dion was going to be an All-Star are even starting to see the writing on the wall.

We all want our own picks to work out and turn into the next star, hard to blame them.

I'm willing to include Dion in a deal for Mozgov....if that's even an option at this point.

eh, maybe. but this team is a trainwreck. Waiters is a loose cannon and everybody knows it. I thought he would piggyback Lebron and they would work well together. However, Lebron is having his own problems. I think he is pissed he was removed long term from the starting lineup and is having issues getting his effort up. Most of his lazy shots are of a guy who has lost hope in the team. We saw the 2nd half of last year when Dion is motoring, in his "ball had" mentality he can be a very nice asset.

Just paste this post all over this thread. This has been the case the first two seasons and its still the case now. He has more negatives to his game than positives. IT's always been that way and there has been zero growth from last season to this season.

This is how bad he's been. LBJ is getting killed for the game he just played. But imagine if Waiters had put up those exact same numbers. 6-12 with 10 assists. Good lord, he'd be the king of the board. That's how low the expectations are for him at this point. A really bad LeBron James game would be a superb game from Dion Waiters.

EDIT: And my god do I wish we had been the team trading our young, "talented" 2 guard for Aaron Afflalo right now.
denver ended up losing that trade so...
