I just like how all the Dion fans blame Kyrie for all the problems and try to make Dion sound like the most complete player in the league. Dions a baller and has a chance to be a good player but talent wise he is not Kyrie and he needs the ball in his hands just as much as Kyrie does to be effective. Dion and Kyrie don't fit together well on the floor. I think Dion is gone. We need more of a pure shooter at SG since we now have one hell of an athlete in Wiggins to play SF.

The Cavs need ballhandlers early in Wiggins development, which Dion provides. Kyrie does cause a lot of problem for himself because the players issues when Dion was off the court with Kyrie on the court, showed up over and over again.

once again who has fit well with kyrie in the backcourt?

Kyrie is an elite scorer one of the best out there. however when defenses caught up to him. the rest of his game hadnt developed to the point where he could maintain his efficiency. hopefully that changes this offseason.

pure shooters are useless if they dont get the ball when they are open. which is a factor on why the team shot better as a unit when Irving was off the floor

fact isboth Dion and Irving woud benefit from some shooters which is why griffin is looking to bring some in. in the meant time thugh you gotta let your boys have those open shots when you dont and thats something kyrie is strugling with,

He has never had to adjust his game to work with others and hopefully now it will be apparent to him that he does.

its isnt just about dion its about how kyrie can make himself and his team better and justt adding shotoers isnt going to address it. it might let him shoot better but it doesnt make the team better

Luckily with all of this said I think Blatt is the type of offensive coach where his scheme and his coaching could do nothing but help Kyrie and Dion but I dunno where Wiggins fits with those two on the floor.

I would be very surprised if Wiggins is playing anywhere other than SF.

At the 3 where he belongs, shooting open jumpers and dunking lobs from the two playmakers.

I appreciate your effort, but it is moot. Waiters will be an all star in L.A. or something while we are paying 8 figures to a SF that is a lesser player.

I've never seen a guy who had such an average season get called a future all-star so regularly. The faith is strong.

Isn't Bradley Beal touted as a future all-star by basketball fans as well? Well him and Dion had similar seasons from a statistical standpoint in spite of the fact that Dion averaged 5 less minutes per game.

I don't get why you go so far out out of your way to bring Dion down. His potential is pretty clear to see.

Completely agree. I'm amazed how Kyrie regressed 2 years in a row, and people blame the coach. Meanwhile Dion has closed the gap between Kyrie and himself substantially, and they think Dion isn't anything special. He had the same coach and he managed to improve...

Well, Rich has some kind of special hatred of Waiters. Most of these other guys just parrot what ESPN says about Irving and Waiters not fitting, and then they look at his PER and say why not trade him.

I don't think I've seen a single person mention his PER in the last 5 pages.

A lot of people including myself like a lot of things about Dion but there is still reason to at least speculate that he will be moved.

I know he will be moved. That isn't the discussion.

THEY FIRED CHRIS GRANT BECAUSE HE WAS GOING TO TRADE WAITERS AND NO ONE ELSE WANTED TO.

Yeah if it is a slam dunk, then so be it. If you get an allstar, Dion has to go. IF they trade him for a Kevin Martin type guy, it is going to hurt this team long term and you will see Dion hitting buzzer beaters somewhere else.

I would get all this if Dion couldn't hit a 3, but he was one of our best catch and shoot 3 shooters last year. Pass him the ball when you get tripled, Kyrie!

I mean, did you watch him play after the All-Star break? Numbers and sample size aside, he looked like an All-Star. I'm not saying he'll be an All-Star next year or anything, but he definitely has the type of game that translates to those types of scrimmages. Did you see him dueling with Tim Hardaway at the Rising Stars game? It was awesome.
