Do all players who played on that team during the year (even those who are not on the roster at the end of the season) get a ring? Is there a certain minimum number of games a player must have played for the team that season? For example, one NBA writer on Twitter said Dion Waiters would get a ring if the Cavs won, but that doesn't sound correct to me.

I don't believe there are any rules about it, since they're provided by teams and not the league. It's at the team's discretion. Given that, I would be somewhat surprised if Dion Waiters got one, but it might be a nice gesture. Or would it be trolling?​
 
Everyone that played for the Cavs from 2010-14 should get one lol if that's the case.
 
Dion will get his own ring. preferably not at the Cavs expense
 
I'd give Lou Amundson a ring for his importance in getting Shump and JR. Alex Kirk is in Canton and saw a few minutes here and there this year; wouldn't be opposed to giving him one.

Dion annoyed me a lot though, so nah.
 

Dion's first tweet in 7 months. I think this is the first either has mentioned each other since the trade. Dion's probably watched all the Cavs playoffs games in the fetal position wishing he was still on the team.
