I wonder if Rondon will remain in the bull pen or return to being a starter.

Huff and Laffey are both good and would be nice end of the rotation guys. Carmona should never be an ace so we fingers are crossed for Masterson and Carrasco. Next year if things go as planned it should look like this:

1. Carmona 2. Pavono 3. Westbrook 4. Huff 5. Carasco

Now thats just a prediction, I dont think Carasco is ready for the majors just yet. Laffey will probably return to the bull pen, he was doing a good job there. So we do have some promising players that will eventually pan out. Chris Perez will be very good next year, just watch.

There are a lot of ifs invovled in our rotation, but it could potentailly be very good, but like i said a lot of ifs. Carmona needs to return, Westbrook needs to get back healthy, and then we need Rondon/Carrasco to develop.

So what, all we ever freaking do is trade for PROSPECTS, this is garbage. I'm sick of hearing yeah more future potential. First of MARK SHAPIRO is a BUM and a horrible GM, the day he gets fired is the day I watch the indians again he manganged to take a team that almost went to the WORLD SERIES two years ago and completly F it up. WE as fans pay to watch a team everyday that can compete right? so shouldent we get to see that happen. Even when we trade for freaking prospects we cant get the really good ones. Look at the Blue Jays dont get the deal they want and not making a move. Now look at us our cheap ass owner sells away two cy youngs in two seasons. And at least i understand the Sabathia deal ok Fine but trading cliff lee for nothing not philidelphias top prospects is a FREAKING JOKE. Now shapiro shits himself again and for cost cutting reasons cant even freaking manage to pull of a good deal for the best or second best catcher in the A.L. ( joe maur). All im saying is as fans we deserve a little more. We see all the best come and go all the time. Im sick of prospect im gonna go out and film every game next year and make MAJOR LEAGUE 3 INDIANS STINK IT UP AGAIN. THANK GOD for the CAVS.

I wish they would at least bring up LaPorta.

Let Grady have surgery, move Crowe to center, bring up Brantley to play left field, and promote LaPorta to first base. At this point it doesnt matter, these guys need to get there feet wet because they will be needed next year. I would rather have Grady healing and exercising during the off-season then him prepping and just recovering from surgery. It is in the Indians best interest to do so, so that he will be ready to go at the the start of the season.

I know with the payroll situation it was going to happen. I know he is getting older and moving him was going to be a formality. I understand all that, and I know Shapiro's hands were tied. It still sucks.

He was the top prospect of the initial Shapiro rebuild. He was the clutchest hitter on the team. He was the guy who stuck behind the plate despite all the doubts. He was the guy with a handshake for every teammate, a kind of glue guy. He has such a gorgeous swing from both sides of the plate, and is a surgeon with the bat. And now, he is a BoSock? This is like when Anakin went to the Dark Side, or when Sergeant Slaughter became an Iraqi sympathizer. I can't even wish him the best of luck, b/c that means rooting for the Red Sox.

Man, am I gonna miss him. all I can hope is that his short in Boston is only for 1 1/2 years.

3:22pm: Not sure what to make of this, but SI's Jon Heyman tweeted that Padres pitcher Jake Peavy was dealt to the White Sox again. Heyman is not sure if Peavy OK'd it. He says the Padres get minor leaguers. Peavy is currently recovering from a torn ankle tendon.

The team that almost went to the world series was built by Shapiro. So, that's your 1st dumb comment.

This post is awful, and I'm pissed at myself for even wasting my time with replying.

But please, you don't know anything about any of these prospects, and if you did, then you probably wouldn't be pissed, because we got some damn good talent in return.

Also, Major League 3 was already made, soooooo...... If this means you're not going to be an Indians fan anymore then great, because I highly doubt you were anything more than a bandwagon fan anyway.

Check out David Price's ERA. Not saying Masterson will be as good as Price, but early struggles in the majors isn't a rare thing for pitching prospects.

Masterson doesn't have nearly the same stuff though. Honestly, the guy with the highest ceiling in this whole package is Hagadone by a longshot but he's coming off Tommy John so who knows what will become of him.

What I want to know is now that we officially have a bottom 5 payroll and a roster made up of a ton of minor leaguers, will Dolan start charging minor league rates on tickets?
