I disagree 100%.
If we didn't suck before the trade, I would be more willing to consider your argument...but the fact of the matter is that we were already headed down this path of suck long before Korver.
The Korver addition freed roster space, upgraded Dunleavey, and made Frye (our best trade asset outside of Shumpert) expendable. This allows us to trade Frye for a more defensive big, and to improve our 3pt shooting at the same time.
Here's the thing: our 2nd unit has been trash all season. Korver was never going to improve that. He's a shooter not a playmaker. Once our team is retooled by the trade deadline, we will all be loving the Korver addition.
Now is NOT the time to critique this trade. It's only the first stroke of paint in Griffin's next masterpiece.
