Game 17 | Cleveland Cavaliers (9-7) @ New York Knicks (4-15) |December 4th, 2014 | 8 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That was ugly. The bench is a slow motion train wreck right now. You MIGHt get something out of one guy on a random night, but it's in no way something you can count on.

My fucking internet cut out after that amazing Kyrie shot. What happened on the last possession? Knicks didnt even get up a shot? Was it due to our defense...? (one can hope)

Melo missed a 3 over LeBron to tie it.

Carmelo got a semi-open three on LBJ but missed. Knicks rebounded the ball but clock expired.

This may sound stupidly obvious, but this is why it's so valuable to have three superstars. One was totally invisible tonight, one was erratic and cold but still contributed, and one was lights out godly. (I'll leave it to you the reader to figure out who is who).

All I know is, in 2009 we never win a game like this. Ever. Not EVER. If LeBron mails one in like he mostly did tonight, no shot.

Yeah this bench has me concerned. Individually, I like the bench players. As a whole, they are failing to execute Blatt's offense, they're turnover prone, and defensively they are collapsing. I think getting Delly back helps, albeit marginally.

Cavs need a solid wing starter and take Marion to the bench to space the D, Cavs have the worst bench in the league right now

Waiters is just upper echelon garbage right now. He is painful to watch.

Also, Carmelo continues to prove why he's a born loser.

The guy loves firing at will.

The great thing about these three, is even if they aren't scoring well, they still contribute and bring other things to the table. Love had 11 boards and hustled in the fourth quarter.

I don't think the issue with the bench has to do with more players. I.E., I don't think another starting guard really helps us in terms of bench scoring. The issue is the different rotations need to learn how to play in Blatt's offense and not just the starters.

whats funny is the 2 not named Kyrie still had double-doubles...lol.. but yes Kyrie carried the offense

Kyrie cold blooded this game.

Kyrie makes an incredible shot. Announcers credit LeBron for clearing out. Pass the torch. Kyrie is in his prime. LeBron is not

kyrie aint even in his prime yet

prime is like 25-29

He literally ruins offensive possessions. It's so frustrating because I think that travel call was bullshit, but overall, Dion is really slowing our offense down this year. He's so much more talented than how he is playing.

I actually didn't mind this one. I thought he was fine and actually made some impressive shots.

3/6 in only 20 minutes. I'd like to see more off the bench, then again his version of more is firing within four seconds.
