Game 17 | Cleveland Cavaliers (9-7) @ New York Knicks (4-15) |December 4th, 2014 | 8 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Knicks are one fucking awful team. We were trying to give them the game. Here--take it! And they refused.

That effort on the boards was truly atrocious. Andy and Tristan were as poor on the boards as I can ever remember them. Just awful.

Even with James hot and cold, Love not getting the ball in advantageous spots with regularity (and not getting any calls--easily could have been 7 more FTs), and the players all but giving up on running ays, we STILL could have won comfortably if Andy and Tristan pulled down some damn boards.

Kyrie is a spectacular scorer right now. I know emotion got the best of him, but it's not good for the team in the long run if he or James barks at Blatt.

James just can't take good enough shots (not using him in the post at all) to shoot 50%+. He seems to start off 2-7, 3-9, etc., make 3 or 4 in a row, miss a few, etc. just really erratic. Made some nice passes though and played really good defense on multiple occasions.

Would love to have Delly back to fucking run plays and play defense for us.

This had loss written all over it. The knicks wanted this game bad and were making a lot of shots. I'll take any win, ugly or not; especially on the road.

I felt like Kyrie could have went for 50 or 60 but he just didn't. Love it.

P.S. MUH ASSISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He literally ruins offensive possessions. It's so frustrating because I think that travel call was bullshit, but overall, Dion is really slowing our offense down this year. He's so much more talented than how he is playing.
That spin move he uses results in a turnover or wild shot (basically a turnover) more often than not. Kyrie is amazing at going to spin moves but keeping his dribble alive; Dion picks up his dribble every time.

Man Cavs took some terrible perimeter shots late...Kyries take was awesome and what a finish.. Marv is an old hating bitch..hated all night.. Greg Anthony was loving the show!.. Fratello is always cool... great win seeing how Love and LBJ only combined for I think 30 pts.. personally I think we come out with energy tomorrow night and beat Toronto.. or at least I hope.. Kyrie on his way Eastern Conference player of the week!

Just take a look at the minutes the big 3 played. That's a guaranteed loss tomorrow night, boys. If I were Blatt I'd pull a Popovich and sit them.

the cavs desperately need an athletic bruising center.. when's emeka okafor available??

I don't know exactly why you quoted me but I entirely agree. I am on the record saying all the AI comparisons -- from this summer -- for Kyrie were ridiculous. If he continues to improve, though, they may not be too far off.

We were not supposed to win that game. Out-rebounded by 14

LeBron is just so good though, all those head scratching plays and you see an impactful 19-12.

Love wasn't really involved like was earlier but still managed a double-double.

This bench really needs to get it going though. There's just too much effort needed to wipe away net negatives and if the Cavs start poorly the hole is even bigger.

Thank goodness Kyrie had some homecooking to make you forgive it.

With the effort Lebron put out tonight, he should feel very fresh tomorrow night

Yea, I'm sorry but I just don't buy this narrative that if a guy doesn't play his best game then he A) played poorly and B)didn't play with effort. There is middle ground that exists here. More than just good or bad and maximum effort or no effort. LeBron played with effort.

I hope we don't run Kyrie into the ground...

Post-game interview with Kyrie was great. Gave all the credit to his teammates and specifically mentions Blatt and his drawn up play for the game clincher! His interviews have been on the same level as his play so far!

Really? He had 19-12 and him and Love were the highest pluses. Let's not pretend like he was just a body out there. Kyrie carried us offensively the other two did a good job contributing in other ways.

Tor is without Derozan.. LeBron should be well rested he took tonight off..and Kyrie is 22.. think you see Miller get some minutes .. definitely a winnable game

If they play like that tomorrow or even a little bit better Raps would take a dump on them.Again.
