GAME 28 | Cavs vs Rockets | Dec. 23, 2008 | 7:00 PM

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Blame your slow ass tree of a center and not the refs. The guy is a lummox out there.

Houston fans are such cry babies. God all they did the entire game was whine about the refs.

It all goes back to their announcers. I watched the game on an internet feed with the Rockets announcers and they were horrible. Total and complete homers, but besides that they whined constantly about phantom fouls that they thought should have been called. Or when Artest shoved LeBron at the end of the game, they said "LeBron doesn't like it when guys shove him much like that, I wish the Rockets had more players like that who are tough and physical". They argued that it shouldn't have even been called a foul. The entire game the announcers made it seem like there was a conspiracy against Houston and that all the calls went against them. Fans are already inclined to believe that when they root for a good team, and their team gets outmatched. It's easy to blame the refs, and when the announcers are feeding that too, it's obvious what the results will be.

Ah that clears it up.

I agree, people prolly think the same thing when they listen to Fred and AC but a couple times a game at least I hear our guys say "Good call" or "The ref got that right" after seeing replays of fouls for our guys, so they can be fair.

Good game! I really wasnt too upset at my team since they competed even when they got down 14. I also see you guys have no answer for Yao when he can stay on the floor. Bron-Bron did his thing. I like how Ron was playing him though, not backing down.

Good to see Lebron finally have some help around him.

See ya when you come to the Toyota Center.

Uh, good game and all, but who DOES have an answer for a 7'6 center??

Every team that's knocked Houston out of the first round of the playoffs in the 'Yao Era'

LOL

Doesn't mean they "have an answer". Yao will get his, the guy is a beast, literally. But McGrady is a choke artist and is soft, and Artest is a nut case.

Haven't you heard? All you need is an athletic big that can play in front of Yao and another athletic big behind him. That is what has given him problems.

I believe you guys also have a 7-3 guy right?

Can't wait till the rematch. By then we should be in a groove and hopefully have everyone healthy.(fingers crossed).

Gotcha Rox fan. Want to see both teams duke it out being healthy and well-rested!

Artest didn't make a field goal in the 2nd half.

McGrady didn't score in the 2nd half (after a quiet first half).

Battier had one field goal in the 2nd half.

Yao played great in the 4th after sitting much of the game due to foul trouble.

Rafer Alston was very effective in the 2nd half, after not having suited up the night before. I thought the Rockets should have brought him back earlier.

I would say that the Cavs took advantage of the Rockets 4 games/5 nights situation. Just like they should.

Tracy McGrady said as much after the game:

"Those four games in five nights caught up to me. I couldn't get it going, one of those nights where I'm not 100 percent. Feeling good on five days rest instead of one and to try to come out here and play against a great team like this on the fourth night, I was feeling pretty tight."

Good call, if no team had an answer for the guy the Rockets would be undefeated. Yao will get his, we just happen to have some guys that can get him into foul trouble.

Athletic big? What's that? ;)

That should answer your question.

I can't tell if you agree or disagree with my logic. You say "good call", but you say "if no team had an answer for the guy the Rockets would be undefeated" which I don't think is true.

Sorry, I'm tired :/

He was agreeing with my observation about all the teams that have knocked Yao out of the playoffs, or at least he was echoing it.
