Game Thread | Game #11 | Cavs @ Kings | Nov. 9, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So we’re 8-3 now, but three of those wins have been overtime games that could very easily have gone the other way. E.g if we were 1-2 in those games instead of 3-0 we’d be 6-5 right now. A lot of work to do
If my asshole was my elbow, you’d have a stinky nose.

Teams are going to come at us ultra aggressive until it doesn't work.

Gotta take these bumps and come out fiercely every game.

Garland is just fucking them over right now. He isn’t stopping anyone on defense and he isn’t doing anything offensively to offset that.

Cavs should be winning just about 100% of the games where Mitchell goes off and Levert puts up an efficient 20/10.

The notion that we can get away with a Wade, Okoro and Osman bench wing brigade will end pretty quickly. Harrison Barnes would look pretty damn good here.

The Osman turnover at the end of the 3rd and subsequent 3 in conjunction with the Love dumbass Hail Mary turnover bailed the Kings out twice when it looked like we were taking control. You could tell it was a game that was going to the wire and both were monumental momentum shifts.

He shot terribly in the clutch last year as well. 37% from the field and 24% from three. He just doesn't respond well to the increased physicality, trapping, ball pressure, and emotional pressure that comes with those late-game stretches. When it happens time and time again, it's hard to ignore the trend.

Teams are going to continue forcing the ball out of Mitchell's hands and daring the other guys to beat them.
And the answer is still not to bench him.

The last year percentages were also based on him pretty much the only guy.

Once they've got 30-40 games playing together for the two of them, their teammates, and their coaches to figure things out best, I doubt his clutch stats will not be that low.

Find me a game when all three of Darius, Caris and Donovan started and all 3 had a positive +/-

(you cant do it)

They are 2-2 and in the two wins, one of the 3 always has a negative

While the best playmaker for our reserves each night is Kevin Love for the midpost. This is elementary. But we insist on forcing a square peg into a round hole. Just like TT at PF and just like Collin Sexton at SG.

Bring Levert off the bench and we win the Clippers game and this game going away.

Much love Rch, but Garland had a bad game and I think it's his own fault. Not LeVert's. Not Bickerstaff's. Just Darius's fault... and I recognize that the smallest guy on the court is most likely going to play poorly when all the calls go against one color of jersey.

Lost this game before it began. Kings were screwed in their last game when the Warriors were gifted a win and Sacramento filed complaints. As you could see, we received the punishment with one-sided calls all game.

That said, Cavs sunk to their level with some sloppy play. The offensive sets were awful. They gave the refs every reason to give the game to the Kings.
So basically the Warriors and Clippers are gifted wins, the Kings break even, and we get fucked in the ass twice.

Im not saying the refs cost us but i just find it odd that Mike Brown just publicly complained about the refs and they just happen to almost double us in fts this game.

Sorry if Im being a combination of abrasive and snarky in most of my posts tonight but the last few games especially it just feels like some people think they're watching games 60-71 instead of games 1-11.

That doesn't mean. that factual or stat based critiques are invalid but I feel like context, timing, emotion, fear and expectation are getting injected with steroids and swirled up into a gory mess

JBB was terrible tonight. Zero mins for Neto with DG clearly not being right?! Hell, even okoro got 6 mins of burn. JBB deserves at least some of the blame
