There are different driver jobs, some take into account things like days away from your home base.I know a guy who did it for several years. Eventually he had three kids and couldn't be on the road all the time, but he missed it.
I have done a ton of mortgages for Truckers, honestly they dnt make 100k+ often from what I see. If yu are W2, you can make 80k, but if they 1099 you and you are responsible for your own fuel and truck, sure they gross 180k in revenue, but often net only 30-50k. Its actually a rip off and John Oliver did a show about it.
Just from what I see, obviously I havent done a loan for every trucker in every situation, but a have done loans for a few dozen truckers and seen their tax returns and W2's.
I do loans across the nation, its not just AZ, in fact i do very few AZ loans.I’ve wondered this about AZ. Not really a hub, not really close enough to another large city to make runs.
