Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was only a matter of time before his 3 point shot came back to reality. Him and Frye are killing us offensively and defensively. I hope JR comes back and plays well and Bogut has something left in the tank so we can get those 2 out of the rotation.

Shump has been absolutely garbage for weeks.

I honestly don't care if he shoots like shit but you have one job in this team. DEFEND. If you can't even do that, whats the point? So many boneheaded plays in the last month or so. Really should have traded him this February when his value has been the highest in the last few years!

Hate to pile on, but he sees his role diminishing and has given up.

How many times is he going to go under on a shooter?? It's just lazy. He's got one of the lowest BBIQs I've ever seen.

And to make it worse he then switched onto Marcus Smart (I believe) for no reason instead of sticking with Thomas. This led to Derrick Williams being late to jump out to Thomas because I don't think he expected a switch when there was really no reason for it.

Shumpert is going to be at the end of the rotation at best once we're fully healthy.

I wish this was the case.

However, I don't trust Lue to do the right thing and bury him on the depth chart.

This guy is such a dumb player. No basketball IQ whatsoever.

Said this in the S34 chat...but I think we made a mistake not selling high on him...

He's not going to have much of a role moving forward for us, and he's getting paid 10 million dollars...should have used him to make the roster a little less redundant.

I'll give Shump this -- he's a good scammer. He got his contract and played hard to get it. And then he just tapped out.

Worked us like a con man.

Don't count on it. Nobody will want him. Not with his defensive performance this year.
If we can convince all these new guys to stay, he will be salary dumped. Count on it.

Someone will take him for a 2nd round pick.

Easier to say we should have traded him now given our great buyout luck and Derrick continuing to impress.

But Deron and Derrick were not certain things. Especially Deron.

But having said that... Shump is miserable.

Can we trade him for Delly this summer?

They tried.

Don't worry. His next good stretch and people will be back to only trading him for a younger, cheaper, bigger, better player. You know, something that's not happening.

Starting to doubt Liggins could be any worse in the starting lineup.
