Johnny Manziel: Swan Won't Return His Calls

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Math. Can't leave home without it. :chuckle:

Skip is partially right... If Johnny Manziel were starting the browns probably would have a worse winning percentage.

6-3=0.667
7-4=0.636

I think what Skip is saying that the hype is so strong around Johnny Football that the NFL would have had us play 2 extra games.

Who knows, Skip might be right.

I'm curious -- some say he has a strong arm; some say he has an adequate arm; then some say it's weak.

I wish there was some universal perception of how good his arm is (not that it matters at this point). I never saw anything special about his arm in college that made me go "damn."

I don't really have a point so I'm sorry. I guess I'm just so confused about him. I've never seen such mixed reviews about a dudes throwing ability.

Where is Johnny? Need Vegas or Cabo photos...something...anything!

I am waiting... Usually, Monday is the day where this stuff hits TMZ.

I will say, though, that Johnny's Instagram was pretty subdued. He had a bunch of pics with his friends (A&M reunion, don't know where) at some places, but he looked sober. Maybe the kid has finally figured it out.... How to be a pro on Instagram, that is.

Well at some point, you go from being invited to the celeb parties as that college stud who is a first round NFL stud-to-be to not being invited because you are an NFL backup who showed promise during college but it didn't translate into the NFL (or maybe you partied too much).

I am hoping that he sees that coming and gets serious, independent of Hoyer (who is a consummate professional and leader).

I would to just reiterate that JF hS made Kiley and booms even more unlistenable than it was. Booms is a god damn moron.

BREAKING: AM radio host sounds uninformed, not qualified to discuss sports

Ratings thrive.

The radio was on 92.3 when I left my house this AM. Kiley & Booms were doing "game plan Wednesday". Booms said we needed to worry about Mallett because "he's seen him play a lot" and that "he can run".

Does not have the athleticism to pick up much yardage with his feet at the next level.

Mallett is a pure pocket passer. He doesn’t have the speed, athleticism or quickness to be a legitimate scrambling threat in the NFL. He shows good movement in the pocket, but defenders shouldn’t be concerned with him picking up first downs with his feet on a consistent basis.
Overall, he is subpar in both top-end speed and athleticism, but makes up for it with decision making and poise.

I changed the channel quickly after that.

Cleveland Sports talk radio is putrid.

But which towns have good sports talk radio? Dallas had very good radio on The Ticket while I was there, but most cities seem to be pretty shitty.

Kylie and Booms yesterday: "We can only talk about the impending game on 'Game Plan Wednesday' but maybe we can break the rules a little bit today."

*Discusses relevant story for 2 minutes*

*Reverts back to screaming match Manziel argument*

Top notch duo. :coffee:

Last week he said he was "very worried" about Giovani Bernard (inactive).

I've recently moved further out into the suburbs. When I was closer, I would listen to Mike & Mike on my way into work every day. With my new house, I don't get great reception from ESPN850 until I get on the highway, so I've been listening to 92.3 until I'm in range.... Booms could be the worst co-host in the history of the world. Kiley has to shrug half the stuff Booms says off like shows do when they get a shitty call. I feel bad for that guy.

I like Columbus Sports radio. Common Man and Company is awesome.
