ding ding ding. 9 games is nothing.
the narrative with jr all along has been that he is an immature headcase with a propensity to chuck like crazy. both of those aspects are still huge question marks, especially as the season moves along and guys like love are (hopefully) better integrated into the offense. he needs to be able to handle less shots when it's just not falling - like against utah when he couldn't hit anything from 3 but still took 11. he isn't going to be able to take, 15-20 shots per game night in and night out. how he responds to that is the million dollar question. if he's mature about it, has strict discipline, and totally buys into the team-first mentality he and the cavs will flourish. if he doesn't, we can have problems. thus far the good has definitely outweighed the bad, but again lets see how things progress because in his career the opposite has been the case.
for better or for worse, he is a gunner. what's vital is controlling that urge when it's just not working. although, i went to the game last monday and i will say it was flat out exciting as hell any time the ball was sent his way behind the arc. granted, it did help that he happened to be hot on that night but still - electrifying.
