Keith Bogans to Cavs, Now Traded to Philly

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

It is taking me a little time to remember how little the Cavs 2nd-round picks are worth now. I still don't like giving them away like Halloween candy, but they used to be worth a lot more. :chuckle:

I like getting Bogans's contract for this year or next year. Lots of flexibility.

Is he the one who's coming?

How are the Celtics making out? In 16 and 17 we will be one of the top 4 records as Love, Lebron and Kyrie are not going anywhere. SO we essentially traded them for 2 picks that are essentially undrafted rookie free agents.

How did 2nd rounders work out for Miami after that got good? Late 2nd rounder's are a one in 15 shot of working out. Most wouldn't even make our team.

We had 20 for camp. We traded away 4 and cut 1 for a total of 5. And we added 1.

So one would think we are adding a couple names...

Great, now I have to bitch about Griffin for getting slammed by Ainge againf for 9 months, and that hope that he shuts me up next summer.

I like getting Bogans's contract for this year or next year, but the Celtics are making out like bandits. :fight (2):

Eh, I don't like that we gave up so much, but I wouldn't go this far. What are the odds any of those players even contribute to that team? We all know the Utah guys weren't gonna make this team, and this gives us more flexibility going forward. In the end, none of the guys we traded were gonna make this team anyway

I guess there's no use in telling you guys not to make a stink about the draft picks. Because if we tried to win all the trades, we'd end up right where Chris Grant was with us. We're not going to win them all, but we will try to set up for the future. Let's try to focus on this year first...

Sending out 3 2nd round picks sure do suck, but for now, reading other teams' fan bases reactions is gold.
They know that they're fucked. The Cavs are in a position to do damage.

cavs just sent out 3.8 in non guaranteed salary for 4 players to 5.2 unguaranteed for 1 player.with the crawford waiving that brings their roster to 14.

I think thats worth a couple second rounders

My biggest question is who signed bogans to a 5.5 million a year deal?

He signed that deal, I believe, when he was dealt to Boston in the KG/PP trade.
