The Cavaliers informed shooting guard Manny Harris that they were not resigning him after his second 10-day contract expired on Sunday. The club wants roster flexibility heading into the trade deadline. They have 14 players on their roster. Harris appeared in just three games during his 20-day stay with the club. He is now a free agent. Harris is not immediately returning to the Canton Charge, he said, as he wants to see what transpires at the deadline. The Cavs could resign him, but the contract would have to be guaranteed for the remainder of the season. Cleveland Plain Dealer
Looks like Manny's been cut loose.
This is one instance in which I hope a team signs him, and he helps lead them to the playoffs. He got nothing but the shaft when he was here.
. . . The Cavs knew they wanted roster flexibility heading into the deadline
. . .I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if he's back here if we still have a roster spot open after Thursday.
Byron Scott said on his radio show the club is likely to bring back Manny Harris
Per Jason Lloyd and Tom Reed, the Cavs will waive Jason Kapono and sign Manny for the rest of the season.
How about playing Manny the rest of the way?
