New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Shit, just finished Season 4 of The Shield. Absolutely fantastic season, loved the new characters of Monica Rawling and Antwon Mitchell. Also loved how this season broadened the main issue of aggressive policing vs human rights (and does the end justify the means) beyond the Strike Team and into departmental procedures as a whole. All in all, might be my favorite season of The Shield yet; definitely between that and Season 2.

Season four and five are probably my two favorite Shield seasons. Both are just fantastic from start to finish. Who would have thought that Anthony Anderson would be one of the greatest TV bad guys ever?

You'll also love Forest Whitaker in season five.

Just watched the first episode of season 5 and Forest Whitaker is an absolute scene stealer (as expected). Only in a few scenes, but damn. He does an amazing job of making you feel the menace behind his seemingly benign and friendly gestures and words.

Yeah. Lets hope for one more season. BTW!

Who would have thought that a "death" of an AI would give you so much feels? Shows what an amazing story teller JoNolan is!

Highlights of the series with a Season 5 teaser at the end!

Any thoughts on HBO's Ballers? I think I'll give it another 2 episodes. As it really hasn't grabbed my attention.

Seems like it is trying way too hard to be Entourage. And it is not.

Watched the first two episodes of Ballers and it didn't keep my attention.

HBO is weird to me.

All the shows they have the option of doing and all the people that want to work with them and they end up with stuff like Ballers and the Brink.

The Strain Season 2 starts tonight.

Maybe it can be less awful this season.

Completely different types of shows but Mr Robot has a Fight Club/ Dexter kinda feel to it

Ballers is... Fine. It's brainless and satisfying in the "everyone has a good time and you can have a good time too" way that Entourage did. Not gonna win any awards, but it doesn't make me shut it off. Plus I have always been interested about the behind the scenes dealings of the sports world.

The Brink might be the worst thing I've ever seen in my life though.

If you would give me your HBO password maybe I can watch it ;)

Kidding. But I seriously need to get HBO Go bad. Not just because I haven't seen Game of Thrones or True Detective before. But I want to see Silicon Valley, and they put season 1 of Veep on Amazon Prime and I watched it in like a day and I really like it.

I want to see the rest of Boardwalk Empire because they only have like 2 season on Prime, but season 2 ended rather disturbingly. And I really want to see Curb your Enthusiasm.

I've ran out of stuff to watch on Amazon and Netflix.
