Pavano to the Twins for PTBNL

According to Joe Christensen of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the Twins have acquired Carl Pavano for a player to be named later.

I was talking to someone about the Twins getting him yesterday because he is 3-0 against the Tigers this year, looks like I was right lol

If this is true, Pavano is scheduled to start tomorrow.. Does Masterson make the start after 1 bullpen appearance, or do they call up Jackson to make a spot start?

I'm guessing they use Tomo Ohka in a spot start, but I guess it could be Jackson. Masterson can't start after a 55-60 pitch bullpen session.

Masterson is supposed to be pitching tonight in relief of Sowers. Jackson is slated to start tonight for Columbus.

My best bet is that its Okha with Masterson assuming the spot the next time around.

Ohka for maybe 4 innings then Masterson for ??? innings.

Why not? Wedge wants to get Masterson one more extended pitching session before inserting him into the rotation.

I'm all for sarcasm and what not, but most of the time you just sound like an idiot.

I mean I can't think of one possible downside to trading Pavano, yet there you are in all your glory lying in wait with another stupid comment.
