I don't think so. I've never seen a movie in IMAX, but I believe it's always going to be the 3D attached to IMAX.

How is the IMAX experience?

I've seen IMAX without the 3D attached, though it's been a while. If the film is shot in that format, it makes for a very engrossing experience provided that the theater has a proper screen/seating setup. You get more image at a higher resolution.

I'm not sure why people are saying the Raimi Spider-Man's were such crap. For the longest time people thought they were great, did Spider-man 3 really make people revise their opinions on the first two spider-man movies? I enjoyed the first two films, but I wouldn't consider them favorites; Spider-Man 2 stands out more for me. I did enjoy seeing the late Randy Savage in the first film though. I wouldn't say that any of the first three films were in worst of all time territory, even as dreadful as three was in comparison to the first two. Films like the 1990 Captain America, the schumacher batman films, Catwomen ect make Spider-Man 3 seem like Citizen Kane in comparison.

I was also incredibly disappointed with Man of Steel, at this point it seems almost impossible to make a good SuperMan flick, i'm even including the 1978 film. He is just too powerful, and too boring. Kryptonite, as others have mentioned is very inconsistent. It is suppose to be extremely rare yet there was an island made out of it in super man returns, and its effect on superman is always different.

This is also why there will never be a good superman video game, he has no weakness apart from kryptonite so it gets incredibly repetitive as you cant design challenges or traps

Yea forgot about Fantastic Four. I'm not even counting Batman and Robin, Batman Forever, or Catwoman. Everyone knows they sucked and it goes w/o saying.

But both of those Fantastic Four movies were pretty damn terrible

Constantine, wouldn't really call it a guilty pleasure because it isn't bad, but one of my go to movies to watch. I love it, a little confusing and one of those movies where it's better upon repeat viewings. Probably my second favorite Keanu film behind the first Matrix.

The TV show coming out will likely suck but I'll give it a chance.

..... Wait, so you mean to tell me that Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure is NOT your favorite Keanu film?

I don't even know you anymore.

True Grit
Oceans 11
Incredible Hulk
The Departed
Casino Royale

But I see your point

I'll take Jeff Bridges' Rooster Cogburn over the John-Wayne-as-Rooster-Cogburn-as-John-Wayne of the original.

Saw Godzilla. I went in 3D IMAX. I'd recommend it.

First hour-hour and a half was pretty bad. I was very disappointed.

Last half hour was AWESOME. Seriously, just skip the 1st hour. Saved the whole movie. Audience actually applauded DURING the climatic scene.

Bryan Cranston was the only actor worth his salt. He was good. Ken Wantanabe's character was absolutely worthless. He spent the hole movie looking at stuff with a stupid, confused look on his face.

This is a given, IMO.
I've already heard mixed reviews of the movie. The main one being that they don't show too much of Godizlla.

While this is true, and it is what made the 1st part of the movie suck, they made up for it at the end.

I will shamelessly go see this in theaters.

Too bad they wasted Watanabe. Absolutely loved him in Letter from Iwo Jima.

I love the premise. The humans are terrible for hunting the Transformers. We've had 3 movies now where the Transformers have destroyed vast swaths of human civilization and now a 4th where they're doing it again. Of course they're hunting you.
