The Bucks are a joke. With all the other talent in the Central they are destined to be an also-ran for the next few years. But hey, at least you can look forward to the exciting Andrew Bogut era.

Denial is not just a river in Africa. :chuckles:

Central Division Standings:

1.Pistons 52wins
2.Bulls 50wins
3.Bucks 48wins
4.Cavs 47wins
5.Pacers 42wins

So Denver gets another big.

Reggie Evans anyone?
That's what I was thinking!!! This pretty much rules out Evans going back to Denver (unless Denver turns around and deals Smith again).

This could get interesting. I have a feeling something will happen for sure by the end of next week.

1. The Cavs are BETTER without Larry Hughes. He takes shots away from your more efficient scorers....Lebron and Ilgauskas. Flip Murray had more of a positive impact on the Cavs than Larry Hughes did last season...even when he was healthy.

 No one believes the Cavs are better without Hughes...not even you. Hughes had that injury all season and came back started shaking the rust off and then his brother died. If you are going to use all those circumstances as proof that Hughes is not effective for us, then you are refusing to tell the whole story.

Losing Ford is the biggest reason.

Bucks should just dump there entire roster. Just imagine all that addition by subtraction!

Doesn't LeBron always go ape on you guys? And doesn't Gooden always get at least 15 boards against you guys, as well? He had 17 rebounds in a game against you this year and in 05 when LBJ was hurt he posted a career-high 33 pts with 11 boards. I mean, Drew Gooden owns you. He really does. And "owned" isn't strong enough to describe your relationship with LeBron.

Bucks fan shouldn't talk smack, especially on a Cavs board. Win 50 games and get out of the first round and then we can talk. Speculation smack is for sissies. The facts are facts...you guys haven't won a playoff series since 2001. You're getting close, but talk to me when it happens.

Seriously, he was totally sold on the Bucks being better than the Cavs last year and they weren't by any stretch. We didn't have a pg last season or solid shooting gaurd for most of the season and we were still better. I don't see how not having a pg again this season makes a worse.

I had the Bucks and Cavs as 5 and 6 seeds respectively. The Bucks were ONE win away from the 5 seed that I predicted. The Cavs were better than I expected but they don't have much staying power imo. Too old in too many positions. Lebron can't carry this team by himself. The Bucks will be better at every position. We can't say the same thing for the Cavs.

Snow..........downside
Hughes.......already peaked, injury prone, lots of mileage
James.........fantastic player, still improving
Gooden?......Getting physically stronger but at the same time weaker mentally
Ilgauskas.....Still a force, but a year slower

Sasha......prove it
Luke........afterthought
Damon.....I know you'd love to get rid of him. Tied worst D in NBA (Jamison)
Marshall....Old legs, can he keep up with youngsters like Villanueava and Bosh
Brown......D-League
Varejao.....Lot's of potential, future Buck

He's going to try and be on his best behavior while putting up career numbers.
As somebody who has lived in Portland for the last year and watched the circus that is the Portland Jail Blazers, GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!
:chuckles:

Blake and Patterson will have instant chemistry since they were teammates in Portland.
For half a season? The Jail Blazers were the most disfunctional group in the entire NBA! Chemistry in doing what? Losing 61 games?

If you want to find out just how f'ed up the Blazers were last year, just read this. This is a tremendous gamble for your team. I wouldn't be getting THAT excited over it. It's kinda like the Damon Jones experiment for us. We all know how that is going.:thumbdown

THANKS TJ. I'm not the dumbest person on this site anymore.

bucks are a OK team, but u are giving them way to much hype. cavs did all that they did with 2 key players missing.

bucks will be good, but not that good. if u really think that bucks will have more wins then the cavs, then GOD BLESS U.

Yeah, if we "dumped" Redd, Blake, Williams, or Bell, I'm sure Cav fans would be lining up for their services. Unfortunately, Ferry would probably fall asleep at the wheel. Yeah...David Wesley is good enough. :chuckles:

hate to say it, but if you think paterson is going to bring something special to your squad...your highly mistaken.

its like they traded one pot head for a crack head.

The thing is - almost doesn't count. One win or 10 wins isn't the issue. You were 3 spots away from your prediction, not one win. You underestimated the competition and overestimated your team.

As for your analysis of the Cavs roster...not even gonna bother with it. You can stoop to trying to sum up players in snippets and then say you "PWN3D!!!!" me, but I am not going to go there.

I thought you were a troll last year and now I know you are.

Patterson can bring alot to the bucks.

he can rape the other teams players, and give the refs Little something to.

Let's compare that with YOUR roster (as if you guys are world-beaters):

Mo Williams: We'll see if he can handle starters' minutes.
Mike Redd: Great offense, no defense. Bet he wishes he had signed with Team LeBron.
Bobby Simmons: $47 million for 13.4 ppg and a decent jumper. And you have the audacity to call us out for signing Larry Hughes?
Charlie Villanueva: It's easy to pad your stats with inflated minutes in meaningless games on a team (Toronto) going nowhere.
Andrew Bogut: If he turns out to be as good as Z, you'll crap yourself. He is nowhere close right now. And this is coming from a Z hater.

Patterson: Happy when things go right, first one to wine like a bitch when they aren't.
Blake: Easy to look like a halfway decent player when you play for Portland.
Skinner: Journeyman, should look nice getting dunked on by Drew again just like he did when the Blazers were in Cleveland last year.
Gadzuric: A begger's Varejao.
Charlie Bell: Damon Jones without the attitude.

The bottom line is: your team won 42 games and ours won 50. You say one guy (LeBron) can't carry a team by himself. Then how on earth were we eight games better than you!?!?? We both had rookie coaches, as well.

Oh, here's a fitting answer: because our roster was better than yours! Now THAT makes sense!

In all seriousness, I don't know if the Bucks will be able to overcome the Lebron hype machine. I was wrong when I said one man can't carry a team. Lebron definitely has a great supporting cast....

Michael Redd and MAYBE Andrew Bogut because of his potential are the ONLY guys I want from your roster. Steve Blake? Again, I watched the Blazers quite a bit (call me a masochist) this year. That guy is the white Damon Jones. Mo Williams? That's a tremendous risk, a risk we can take with somebody else. Bell??? You act like this cat's all that, but 8 ppg with a nice stroke can be found almost anywhere else in the NBA.

Oh and btw, you call Shannon Brown a D-leaguer. That may be true about Gibson, but just watch Brown become our backcourt version of Varejao. Don't say I didn't tell ya so.

:chuckles: When you have nowhere else to go...BLAME THE REFS!!! :chuckles:
