Just a tiny bit of trolling here, too. Oakland player, Draymond's all over him. Cavs nab his rights. Certainly not the main reason, but I can't imagine it wasn't going through Griffin's head a bit.
It's not the same Oakland you're thinking of.
This has nothing to do with the Warriors.

Never been so excited to get a second rounder. If the dude is 4 inches taller, goes in the top half of the draft.
If he's 4 inches shorter, he's Peter Dinklage!
I think Mo being on the final roster is far from a sure thing. He could be an add in to a trade at some point. Not sure what Mo has to give in an 82 game season too with age and injury. He could possibility beat out Mo as the season goes on. With the unclear FA picture with Delly, and McRAe not being a true PG, this was not a bad idea at all. From everything I see, he seems like he has great potential and could develop if given some minutes. Problem is, I don't see us having any minutes to give. It would be hard to crack the rotation over Delly. And we have Mo. So unless we lose one of them, it might be hard to make the roster. Or maybe Dahntay leaves.
We could put him on the D League and wait a year to bring him in, but I'd want to give him a chance right away and let him learn from LeBron and the team. Putting people in the D League seems to never be a good confidence booster for players and it isn't the way I'd want to start. So I really hope he can make the roster and earn a spot in the rotation.
May be too short to get most NBA guys.
Hopefully he turns out better than Shabazz Napier.
14" shorter... Peter is 4'5"
