So long, Kay Felder

Just a tiny bit of trolling here, too. Oakland player, Draymond's all over him. Cavs nab his rights. Certainly not the main reason, but I can't imagine it wasn't going through Griffin's head a bit.

It's not the same Oakland you're thinking of.

This has nothing to do with the Warriors.

Hell of a pick up for the Canton Charge. :chuckle:

Oakland is in Michigan (Detroit)

Draymond was high on the player because he is an outside the box player. If he was 6'1 - 6'3 he would probably be the first PG selected.

Lebron also likes him as well. Hopefully he turns out better than Shabazz Napier.

Lets make sure every person understands this Oakland is not located in Cal. Not sure if some posters are confused or trying to be funny.

If he can eventually come off the bench and run the offense it could be very beneficial to LeBron and Kyrie during the regular season. He'll have to be really good offensively to make up for how much guards will attack his lack of size on defense. He's half an inch shorter than Isaiah Thomas.

From everything I see, he seems like he has great potential and could develop if given some minutes. Problem is, I don't see us having any minutes to give. It would be hard to crack the rotation over Delly. And we have Mo. So unless we lose one of them, it might be hard to make the roster. Or maybe Dahntay leaves.

We could put him on the D League and wait a year to bring him in, but I'd want to give him a chance right away and let him learn from LeBron and the team. Putting people in the D League seems to never be a good confidence booster for players and it isn't the way I'd want to start. So I really hope he can make the roster and earn a spot in the rotation.
I think Mo being on the final roster is far from a sure thing. He could be an add in to a trade at some point. Not sure what Mo has to give in an 82 game season too with age and injury. He could possibility beat out Mo as the season goes on. With the unclear FA picture with Delly, and McRAe not being a true PG, this was not a bad idea at all.

Definitely a fan of this kid's game...I think the Cavs did this with hopes that he'd make the team, and perhaps even crack the rotation.

This might not be good news for keeping Delly, though. Maybe Milwaukee is going to offer him a ton of money after all..
