The Brian Hoyer thread...

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Easy angry guy.

Adrian Foster might have been hurt, but that elite offensive line of the Texans looked just fine. Run defense continues to be the barometer of wins and losses this season.

Might be time to start looking at drafting some serious run stoppers.

I think the Browns financial situation is fine, if we want to keep him 1 more year we franchise tag him.

I finally received a deserved bad spelling rating rather than a spiteful one, so kudos to you Chris.

That said, while you don't want to franchise Hoyer under any circumstance, don't lose sight of why the team was always in third and long situations. Don't lose sight of why the Texans could just hand the ball off and gain 6+ every time.

I hope you guys saw what really lost this game rather than starting a scapegoat session.

I can't even believe people entertain the idea that Hoyer could get a franchise tag.

I mean what in the actual fuck.

Was at game today, sat next to some guy who insisted we should franchise him and said that even if he plays the first few next year and then is the backup it's worth the money. What in the actual fuck?

Just got off the phone with Pettine. He said Johnny is starting next week.

You don't lose sight of how utterly fucking terrible Brian Hoyer was today, either.

170 rushing yards yielded to the backup running back? Despicable.

I sat at the 50 today and the amount of receiver separation I saw was putrid. QB pressure was early and often. Running game blew.

Was Hoyer good? Nowhere close. Would Johnny have been good? Would have been even worse.

Who's angry? I'm merely expressing my contempt for the Hoyer camp's continual efforts to negotiate through the media. It's unnecessary and presumptuous until the season is over.....

Hoyer was on pace for over 300 yards at halftime. Normally 300+ yard games become that in the second half.

The line sucked and was rightfully getting penalized for bad play, the backs turned the ball over, all life was sucked out of the game by the 4th quarter.

And yes, Manziel wouldn't have helped any of that. MVP goes to Lanning in a landslide, now give me back my Josh Gordon already.

Baseless claims a few minutes after a loss may have a better home in the game thread. That's all. Can I get some offensive weapons who make starters money please?
