The Official Game of Thrones [A Song of Ice and Fire] Thread (includes spoilers)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This episode was needed after a few "snoozers" so to speak. Loved everything about this episode from the talk with Tyrion to the obvious end scene.

Was I the only won talking to the tv telling the giant to quit swinging that fucking pole and get the fuck out of dodge?
Lol I was really concerned they were going to kill the giant and tormund, glad they didn't.

I really need to find time to read the books

This shit wasn't in the books bro. We're in uncharted territory.

Enjoyed it. What is Jorah's plan? Fight in front of Dany in hopes of moving her?

That last battle was cool. The Others seem pretty formidable.

Yep. Nice mix up to have Jon there.

Mutiny this season?

Seems like they're pretty obviously setting up Ollie to be one of the guys who stabs him. Dunno if it'll be this season or next, though.

Did the Cersei nude scene happen yet? I'm so far behind.

Holy crap! That was an AMAZING episode…just my thoughts

Yay to Sansa having more family out there, I am rooting for her hardcore.

That ending was beautiful. That whole attack was so epic and when Snow killed that White Walker, wow. The Wildlings and the Night Watch fighting together against one common enemy, never thought I would see that. That whole ending sequence with the Walker King, just creepy.

Holy fuckin shit. Probably my favorite scene of the show so far. Needed it too, this season had been pretty boring so far for the most part (in comparison to past seasons).

I meant it just in general I need to read them.

That was one of my favorite episodes of the series.

The Dany and Tyrion scenes were great, and now I'm super excited to see them together in the books. I assum that'll happen.

Cersei in captivity was pretty solid too. Glad Kevan will be back. He's a great counter to her now that Tywin is dead.

And that White Walker battle.... I was starting to worry that in the books and in the show that they were becoming an afterthought. Like "how could they really be so impactful at this point?" Well, the show just made them absolutely TERRIFYING. Terrifying.

And I loved how while the dragon glass made the walker die with a slow burn, the valyrian steel just obliterated him. How many Valyrian swords actually exist on the show? Is it just Longclaw, Oathkeeper, Widow's Wail and the dagger used in Bran's assassination attempt?

Randyll Tarly has one in the books, and he's going to be cast next season apparently.

Wow. That was just incredible. Felt like for the first time the show has made the walker threat a game changer. This was not thirty slow footed zombies trudging for the fist... This was the reckoning threatening your homes.

Stereo, I think you're correct. Do we know where 'Wail is though? Have to assume they didn't bury it with Joff. That dagger is MIA as well...

Regardless, four or so blades won't hold back that army. Dragons may do the trick though. There's going to be an incredible ending to this series.

IM REAL HYPE
