The Official Game of Thrones [A Song of Ice and Fire] Thread (includes spoilers)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Eh. I’d say he deserves that much. Did bad things, but he doesn’t seem to be a bad person at heart and has spent the last three seasons trying to make up. People like Tormund and Sandor who have done just as much bad, if not more, are pretty well liked.

Like you said though, right or wrong, Tormund and Sandor are well-liked. Tormund for his wild appearance, loyalty, fearlessness, and humor. Sandor we have seen the depth of his character. He's done plenty of awful things but there is a sliver of honor/goodness in him that has slowly been revealed as the show has gone on.

Theon we have seen go from cocky, to cunty and evil, to broken, rebuilt to an extent, to coward, to back on the right track. So there is depth there too, but he's never once been a likable character to me.

Yea, I can agree mostly. I thought you were just referring to it from a morality view. Every time I root for Tormund, I recall him murdering dozens of helpless people seasons ago in brutal fashion and I feel icky.

Did the A-Team care about having enough ammunition? NO! They just blasted away without ever having to reload. The armies and people will have enough food...don't worry.

First of all, that Umber scene gave me nightmares.

But when they found him, someone said "It's the Night King sending a message". How does anyone know that?

There is a small part of me that is still holding out hope that Ghost, Nymeria and her crew of wolves will come out of nowhere during a point where it's looking bleak for the Stark's, but I'm mostly expecting to never hear from them again, or just get a quick scene with them that wraps up what happened to them.

I believe the special effects people confirmed that Ghost at least would be back. Not sure about Nymeria. That scene with her and Arya may have been her goodbye.

The entire Greyjoy storyline sucks and has always sucked. Wish they were never a thing. The sooner they are all dead, the better.

It's so much better in the books. Kind of like how Dorne is mediocre in the books but an absolute pile of pointless shit on the show. At least in the books it actually seems to be going somewhere.

I expected more out of the reunions. I get that they're focused on the Night King.. but couldn't Arya have been like don't worry bro... I avenged our brother.

How does he know he's sending a message? And how does he know it was specifically the Night King who did it?

Did you miss all the blood spots in the snow with no bodies? And the fact that those men were at the wall when the Walkers broke through the Wall?

I mean...it's pretty easy deductive reasoning.

Tormund was acting within the norms of his people, and never betrayed anyone. Sandor was serving someone else. A brutish thug, but he was still within the bounds of society. But what Theon did in betraying the family that fostered him is something that basically horrified everyone. Then there was him deciding to murder the little Miller boys just to make it look like he'd gotten Bran and Rickon.

Same here. But Alfie Allen's portrayal of him was fantastic.
