I'd go along with playing them regular minutes until Hughes returns to find out once and for all whether either one of them is worth a damn. Frankly, I don't think either one will ever play more than a marginal role on an NBA team. Luke was a number one pick, and we always get infatuated with our number one picks. He may have been a good player in college, and he's definitely a big-league passer, but he's just too slow and too weak to hold his own in the league. Sasha has a big league body but he's a mechanical man with poor basketball instincts. Give him an uncontested shot and he can hit it, but put him in a contested situation and he's always a step or a thought slow reacting. I'd love to be wrong about both players because we don't have anybody decent behind Lebron and Hughes on the wing, so yes, let's play them and I'll glady eat crow if I'm wrong.
