The Walking Dead

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: The Walking Dead Episode One (Pre-air)

I think it is the fact that it has slowed down quite a bit. While the comics definitely focused on the characters, I don't think I can remember an issue that had as little action as this last episode. I mean, one zombie in the whole episode? Flashbacks don't count for me. Anyways, we'll see how it goes. Definitely is better to watch without the commercials. And, yes, I thought the bait scene was rather ridiculous. It actually goes against the message that the entire set of comic issues tried to portray. You do something stupid and you will almost always die. Anyways, I actually didn't mind the episode. I just kinda took that little scene as a TV thing. I just want them to move it up a bit.

Anyways, you'll be happy to know that the bait-a-roonie is NOT from the comics. Of course, in the comics, at least one of our survivors... didn't. Though, Otis did... The bullet wound wasn't near as bad. An action scene that hasn't occurred yet would have. And by now, or next week at the latest, we'd be on the road to the next adventure. Oh... almost forgot... no missing kid for all these episodes either....;)

Which brings me to another point.

F that kid. That kid had all the information she needed to get back to the goddamn highway 30 yards away. I'm sick of them screwing around trying to find that idiot. If she couldn't find her way back after the detailed instructions she was given then she's going to remain a liability for the rest of her childhood.

I don't want her back on the show.

Re: The Walking Dead Episode One (Pre-air)

And you know they are going to have like a big moment in the show where the mom dyke cries a bunch with Hans Zimmer music playing in the background when the kid comes back.

Of course. And I have better things to do than watch that bullshit.

For instance, watching a flashback of a bunch of zombies eating that little son of a dyke.

Spoilers

Your posts about this show are EXACTLY my sentiments. I watch this with my roommates, and the live bait scene had us all yelling at the TV simultaneously, "...what the fuck is this shit?!?". No human being would ever, EVER, think that was a good idea. And if it was successful, were they just gonna have someone take a sip of that water to see what would happen? Stupid stupid stupid.

And FUCK SOPHIA. I hated that little bitch since the second she blatantly disregarded Rick telling her to wait for him. He told her to wait for a while and then head back if he didn't come. She booked it like 25 seconds after he left her. If she's still alive I might stop watching the show. What's dumber than the possibility of her still being alive is the fact that they're still looking for her. They must not sense the urgency of a zombie apocalypse. Time to get moving. Fuck Sophia, she's an 8 year old girl who's been lost in the zombie infested woods for over 3 days. I hope she's dead as shit...it would only make sense.

They're gonna have to bring in the big guns to keep me interested here soon...Merle. He's gotta make a reappearance.

Amen.

The only way they bail this sinking ship out is if an un-infected Merle himself cannibalizes Sophia in front of her mom.

Re: The Walking Dead Episode One (Pre-air)

Last episode was the best of the season by far. Excellence.

Re: The Walking Dead Episode One (Pre-air)

I agree. It finally started to not suck as much.

Re: The Walking Dead Episode One (Pre-air)

I'll feel better once we get the hell off the farm. Time to get moving. At least, they finally initiated the "barn" issue. ;)

Re: The Walking Dead Episode One (Pre-air)

Does the blonde chick annoy anyone else as much as she does me? She needs to get eaten before she kills a character I like. I'm all for killing her off the letting Maggie take her place in the permanent plot line.

Spoiler

I hate her with a burning passion. If she didn't suck with a gun and killed Darryl, I might have been too pissed to continue watching. Darryl is sweet, blonde girl blows, Maggie is hot.

Re: The Walking Dead Episode One (Pre-air)

You can't kill off Andrea. Her character will get better as will her aim. Blame the tv producers for deciding to develop her in the manner they have chosen.

Yes, Lauren Cohen is hot. She also played Bela in Supernatural. But, her character is very different from Andrea. And, frankly, not as important long term.

Re: The Walking Dead Episode One (Pre-air)

Yeah, Andrea as she's currently been developed totally sucks. She almost killed Darryl, who has become my favorite character. Plus, she's a bitch and she doesn't really offer the group any assets.

Maggie needs to be on board. Can you imagine how stinky and hairy her bush must have been when the Asian kid hit it?

Disagree. Thought it was another steaming pile of turds.

1. This Sophia bullshit is getting old, fast. Every week there's some new clue that keeps them looking, only to later realize that they aren't any closer than they were before.

2. Yet another struggle between Rick and wife-fucker. One wants to "do the right thing" and the other wants to keep everyone alive. Yawn.

3. Wifey being pregnant with wife-fucker's kid does intrigue me.

4. Andrea is a floppy bag of cunt shit. Her character blows my scrote. Kind of reminds me of when Lost would try to develop a character by using an inner struggle. Except no one gave a shit. Same holds true now.

5. I hope Carl's gay ass dies. These kids really hold the show back.

6. The creepy farm and barn full walkers intrigues me a bit.

7. This show is a huge disappointment after season one.

8. I'll be watching on Sunday.
