The Kings are up to the 10th lottery seed now.

They have about a 1 in 20 chance of passing Philly for the 11th seed by the end of the year.

If that happens, then there is about a 1 in 10000 chance that seeds 12,13 & 14 win the lottery.

That means there's about a 1 in 200,000 chance that Kings give the 14th pick to the Cavs this year.

This is about 1 in 199,999 higher than it was last week.:thumbup::thumbup:

That would also mean our #3 pick would fall to #6. Picking at 6, 14, and 17 sounds horrible. Id rather wait a year or two. When the protection drops.

No that would suck. I'd rather us pick 3rd, than 6th, 14th, and 17th. That package of picks might get us into the top 3 though.

Yup. Getting pick #13 next year to go with our pick #20 would be a lot better.

I can't see this team getting a top 6 seed next year. It's not impossible, and the moves the FO makes with free agency will tell us if we're going for a playoff run, but I just can't see it. The player we add from this draft is not likely to be an impact player, and we know Andy's going down 30 games in. I suppose if Tristan makes the progression I expect him to, and Kyrie can stay healthy we have a chance, but those are two big ifs.

I imagine we would have been a playoff team this year if we stayed healthy and began the year with Speights Livingston and Ellington.

Utah is 6-12 over their last 18 games, and after tonight, that is enough to retake the 8th seed. They have a lot of home games left. Some are against good opponents but they play well at home. Lakers need some special intervention.

Can't see LA getting in. Toughest schedule and injury problems mixed with terrible defense isn't a recipe for success.

Having the 16th pick or so isn't a big deal to me because those picks rarely pan out but the chance of trading up to maybe 10-12 couldve been valuable. Now if we end up with Miami's pick instead we'll be lucky to trade up to 20.

If Kyrie Is healthy anytime soon can we lend him to the Lakers for the rest of the season till the play offs? To ensure both teams get what they need we can lend them Spieghts to and w can take Jamison off their hands while we are at It. Just till the Play offs though.

Why of all the years the lakers could suck must they do it now?

Its the same reason the competition is so weak now that the Cavs are no longer contenders. Timing is everything.

Phoenix is getting serious with their tanking...1-9 in their last 10 and lost 5 in a row

But the best part is this fantasy update regarding Goran Dragic

"Dragic sat out Wednesday and will be kept out of Thursday's game as well, simply to give him a rest, the Arizona Republic reports.
Spin:
The Suns weren't subtle about this one, sitting their best player against the Jazz when Utah is battling the Lakers (who owe the Suns a first round pick) for the final playoff spot in the West. Thursday's game off is just a bonus, as Phoenix tries to keep its own position in the draft lottery, and it wouldn't be surprising if Dragic's minutes get cut back for the remainder of the season."

If the Cavs were to sit their biggest player, who would that even be now? Livingston?

Probably would involve whether or not to bring back Kyrie Irving, who practiced today.
