Team really needs a backup big and point guard, soon as Mozgov sat due to foul trouble they ate us alive on the boards. As much as I like Delly he offers no penetration and its killing the second unit, Delly works better as a small shooting guard.
We need another big but can we please not overreact and throw out desperate statements after 1 loss (on the second night of a back to back on the road with our starting power forward out the day before the all star break)?
@SanduskyCav said it well, but I really hope that tonight drilled into the FO's head that getting a big is the most important priority right now. If one of those guys goes down we are completely fucked, and will not make it past Chicago if/when we play them in the playoffs.
For the love of god, get another big in here. Come playoff time, Delly's 10 minutes a night won't be a problem at all. We will need a 4th big for the playoffs.
A fourth big who can give a decent 10 odd minutes a game is an absolute necessity. One injury to either Love/Mozgov/TT and the frontline becomes flawed, especially with Mozgov's tendency to get in foul troubles.
I don't see a need a for Ray Allen at this point.
I have already said the Cavs need another center/PF and a backup PG.
I don't think they need to trade for either ..just pickup someone who's been waived.
For those clamoring for a backup big after last night's game, you're not exactly wrong in that line of thinking. But I also think that if it was Kyrie who missed the game because of an eye injury instead of Love, the same crowd would have seen how that scenario played out and then freaked out about a competent backup PG being the bigger priority.
The truth is we have a need for both and the assets (asset?) to acquire one (maybe).
