No thanks.
I did reread it. You’re the one getting butthurt for me asking a question and going off on a tangent.Indians move into first place and y'all are ridiculing a guy's missing comma because that's easier than reading the post a second time to clearly understand what message he was intending to send. Classic.
Not sure why everyone around here gets so damn testy while the team is playing well. It's like nobody is allowed to post an opinion that goes against the grain without having posted advanced stats for two years prior.
Happy to see the team playing well. I agree that Kipnis clearly has some locker room pull this season, but I also believe the team would replace that if given a whole spring to do so with him no longer on the team. If he comes back, it can't be as an everyday player or at his market value.
Wait, you know Arroyo and Chang are different people right? Or did you forget a comma?
Whaaaaaaat?
What's with all the hate for Bradley Zimmer?
If the bat is even just league average for his position, he's a star.
He's truly an elite defender in CF-- which is crazy valuable even if he only sorta kinda puts it together at the plate.
He's really not all that dissimilar to someone like Byron Buxton.
The Indians are not trading Santana this offseason, stop...The biggest question is where does he fit going forward?
Also another strange random question, I don’t think we will, but what would we get if we decided to trade Santana in the off season? It would create an opening for Bauer’s/Bradley and shed a fair amount of space. (I wouldn’t trade him, just a hypothetical question)
He's going to have to prove he can stay healthy and stop striking out at sky-high rate, but I'd still say his fit is everyday CF
Mercado is certainly showing he is deserving of everyday playing time, but don't think he should necessarily be married to CF.

Don't want to try to force feed Zimmer this year since I think we've got a good thing going and he would likely be rusty (doubt playing him at the MLB level this year isn't in the cards anyways), but if he's healthy and ready to go next season, damn straight you give him every opportunity to earn a spot.
Well, he’s below average in CF. So, I don’t think it’d be a huge travesty if we moved him to an easier to handle corner spot.Mercado is way better defensively in CF than he is in the corner spots at the moment. Maybe another off season of being a corner OF would help, but I feel he will always be best in CF
