“Passable”. That exactly what it was, almost. Top tier QBs aren’t putting together passable games. It’s sad that this is a positive for Baker. He needs to be a leader, something that he used to be that looks like may be lost. I’m not sure there is a player on this team that has faith in him.
EVERY ball is late and behind the receiver. What the hell is going on.

I see Bakers potential, he is having a big learning curve allot to do with things coming easy in year 1. He will learn though, even if we dont make the playoffs, this is not a lost year as adversity builds char actor and teaches a qb allot especially for someone as talented as Baker.

Baker and the WRs (and probably Hillard) need to stay in town over the bye week and work on their chemistry/timing. Too many drops and miscommunications today.

It should be obvious that the shrimp isn't a top tier QB. Lamar Jackson is better. He really is.

Garland really is an amazing shooter. Garland alone gives me reason to watch the Cavs in 2019/20. Also excited for an experienced college coach to see what he can do in the pros with good young talent. Just got some loose ends to cut, Tristan, JC, wouldn't even mind seeing nance jr. Shipped out ..
With that said, Baker pretty much sucks.

Anyone have blitz percentage numbers vs the Browns?
Seems with how bad the o-line is opposing defenses aren’t having to blitz much to generate pressure, allowing them to keep more guys in coverage. This is likely the reason that by the numbers Baker has more time to throw but winds up with fewer throwing lanes down the field. Not excusing his play, but it could be a factor.
