Thank you. Jupand was who I was thinking of that had advanced details on the Red/Padres/Indians deal. Not RenoYes jupand seems plugged into some items. I would call him an insider.

I still really like Alex VerdugoWhile he's obviously pushing BS, the Indians and Dodgers DO make a ton of sense as trade partners.

I think the team will look to trades & internal candidates to fill the openings. The available money would allow for a contract (of some note) to be absorbed. The Tribe could also be looking to contract extensions to control some future costs & that could eat up some "projected available funds" for the 2020 season.Who do you guys see us targeting in free agency? They were projecting around 15 mil to be able to take on via trade/free agency next season after everyone’s raises. Any targets worth even trying to sign anything think?
No explanation included as to why he was pulled, but his slash line there wasn’t too robust. Nice to see some power flashed though.
Maybe he just needed a mental break in a sense? He seems to be going through a slump, so in theory maybe giving him a break will keep him away from bad habits and just get him rest in the off season. Also I am wondering how many lefties he faced since he still hasn't had good numbers against them in the minors.
Maybe he needed a mental break from the struggle of playing through the injury?Dunno if it's out there but he had a hand injury that required surgery.
Had been dealing with it for most of the 2nd half....
I think that's the point, though, that the Dodgers have the resources to get this done in theory.Unless the Dodgers give up Lux, May and a top 10 prospect, I don't see it.
The Tribe would have to be blown away to trade Frankie, and the Dodgers aren't known to part with prime assets.
