This was surprising..never expected to hear that name.
Now does it mean someone is leaving?

You would think TT is going somewhere because I don't think Drummond is coming off the bench. Also don't think we deal Nance.

Love or Tristan is clearly being traded but we just got Drummond for free? Lol. 2 expirings who suck and a 2nd Rounder??? Wtf is Detroit doing?

Didn't wanna pay Drummond his 29 Million or how ever much his Player Option is for next season which he apparently plans on exercising cause he won't hit that on the open market. Also its got to be TT. Love is the perfect fit next to Drummond and vice versa.

How is the cap situation around the league for the summer? Are we really going to have that much competition to re-sign him?

Detroit now projected to have the most cap at 35 Million. They clearly won't be in the market. Memphis and Atlanta used their cap in deals Capela + Dedmon for ATL and Winslow + Waiters for Memphis. We will have around 30 M in space if Drummond opts out.

"Drummond, the league leader in rebounds, has a $28.7 million player option in his contract for next season that he is likely to pick up. The Cavs entered the deadline projected to have plenty of cap space this coming summer, but weren’t thrilled about the available options. They recently discussed the possibility of pre-spending it instead. This was their way of doing that. "

Its going to be a lot of fun to watch Drummond and Love together. I'm sure Kevin is thrilled about this.

The crazy thing is Drummond is only 26yrs old. Also, with this filling a major need at the center position, I wonder how this affects our draft?

We have 3 open roster spots now. Should we just try every 3 and D player in the GLeague on 10 day deals until we find a couple that stick?

Good Question. I was hoping Dean Wade would get some burn. I really like him. That seems less likely now.

Wings are at such a premium, there isn't going to be anyone better than Mckinnie I think. We have to draft Okoro IMO.

I'm talking about the rest of the season. We have 3 empty roster spots. If we go to the GLeague and throw out a bunch of 10 day deals until someone sticks we might find someone. If you throw enough shit at the wall something will eventually stick. See Heat with Duncan Robinson and Kendrick Nunn. You can find role players in the GLeague. We have a chance to keep trying out guys for the last 3 months of the season and seeing if any of the wings stick.
