KLove is 4 years younger then Horford. Not even comparable situations. KLove closer to Blake a few years ago. Sadly no one dumb like the Pistons.

Well, I don't think you need to be dumb to take on Love, I think you would need to be a poor free agent destination with a good defensive center and then he could really help your team. It would probably take a good young player and that is it. Something similar to the Iguadala trade that just went down.

Pistons will receive Brandon Knight, John Henson and a second-round pick form the Cavaliers for Andre Drummond, per sources.

Got the anchor to cover for our midget backcourt. If we can somehow get a long term deal we could be back to competing next year. Assuming KLove is healthy.

I wonder what the logic here is? Do you think he's going to opt in for next year?

Either way, improves the product on the court this year and doesn't hamstring them in the future. Can't complain!

Edit: unless they're planning on trying to sign him to a long-term contract. Wouldn't really want that.
