2019-20 Cavaliers Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Can someone just make a damn trade already? So many rumors involving literally every team and yet we can’t even get a minor trade from Woj

I hate this time of year. People hype up trades and it doesn't come through.

It looks like we will be able to trade TT. I am also hopeful we can deal Love to the Clippers. But the easiest guy to trade should be Henson.
In addition to the draft choices, I hope we get somebody that is tall enough to play center. Otherwise we may have to play Cedi there.

What can Henson bring back? A G league player on a 10-day contract?

I like Henson better than most, but I don't think he brings a second unless he has a clean season.. I think TT should bring a late first. Love a mid first, or late first and a young asset.. won't happen this year..

I like Henson too but this coaching staff don't play him unless we're getting absolutely killed in the paint.

That may change when they move TT, depending on what comes back.

Likely afraid he will get hurt. Henson is quite possibly the most fragile player in the NBA.

Thank God we aren't gonna re-sign him. He's simply not a starting center on most teams.

He's a weird player. He can start for really, really good teams if they have the right players.

Like he could go start for the Lakers, who have a really big line-up, and be pretty good. He could probably start for the Clippers and Celtics too.

But put him on a teams that don't have these awesome wing players and he's suddenly very, very average and probably should be coming off the bench. Like here.

Adios.
I've had this debate with posters years ago. TT is a PF who plays the 5 for the Cavs but on most teams he's a PF ..I just thought it was interesting how it went all of a sudden from signing himto him wanting out...or rather his agent wanting him traded.

Maybe extension talks broke down. He's having a good year and if the Cavs weren't willing to pay then it makes sense to want to part ways

I think TT and Rich Paul's leverage went down alot recently. If Garland looked like a sure fire star, Rich Paul would have leverage that to inflate TT's contract in years and/or salary. Garland is the only other Klutch client on the roster.

TT until recently was a big part of helping Sexton get open. Sexton has improved and has shown to be able to score without TT on the floor. TT doesn't seem to have chemistry with any of the other young guys so he isn't really important to their development.

Lastly, I think the market for Love isn't there so he will be on the team going forward and they don't necessarily need TT as that vet leader for the young guys if Love is around.

TT got his gift for his last contract. He’s a nice piece but not at the previous contract price. He’s going to have a reality check next summer
