2019-20 Cavaliers Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I honestly feel if the Cavs gave a majority of the front court minutes to Henson and Nance we'd be better. Thompson and Love both want out and neither are great fits with the two small guards we're determined to play big minutes.
I think the likeliest guy to be traded is Henson though.
But hopefully this is a much different team after the deadline. Whatever they do, it would be hard to get worse.

I agree and I'm starting to also lean towards trading both of them. TT's leadership is nice but his on court fit is just so bad, at this point I think it negates whatever other qualities he brings.

In either case if we trade TT I hope Love is traded right after too. The idea of him being the defacto 'leader' of this team for any number of games is terrifying.

Things went south in a hurry from extension talks to wanting out of Cleveland by Thursday . I think the logic of getting traded to a contender who will get his "Bird Rights" and inevitably overpay is the right strategy as opposed to testing the open market. It worked once why not try it again :chuckle:

TT traded to a contender or JR signed with the Lakers.

He's just flexing because of that shitty article he got Vardon to publish. Still think this is going to be the beginning of the end of Klutch sports when it's all said and done.

Well this is going to be a interesting Trade deadline..wonder what Rich Paul will do if a deal doesn't get done?

Klutch Sports will always have juice until LeBron retires. Rich Paul used to be a "humble, working in the shadows" kinda of guy but the AD signing got to his head. If Kevin Love doesn't get traded, he might fire his agent and sign with Klutch after watching Clarkson and TT get moved lol.

Beautiful thing about Twitter is nobody knows what it means so business as usual :dunno:

Thank God we aren't gonna re-sign him. He's simply not a starting center on most teams.

He's a weird player. He can start for really, really good teams if they have the right players.

Like he could go start for the Lakers, who have a really big line-up, and be pretty good. He could probably start for the Clippers and Celtics too.

But put him on a teams that don't have these awesome wing players and he's suddenly very, very average and probably should be coming off the bench. Like here.

Adios.

Interesting observation. It's all about fit. I don't think he starts for the Lakers, though. McGee is better. I don't think TT is an upgrade over McGee or Howard.

Regardless. We need to move him and if possible love
Henson i think would have value. Knight and delly. Nada

I think Knight and Delly could be used to take back a bad contract or an expiring for a team that needs to reduce their luxury tax bill. Remember the Cavs are 5+ million below the luxury tax after the Clarkson trade. I wouldn't be surprised if Koby and the front office did the math to see how that expanded their market for bad contracts to take back.

I didn't think they would move Delly because they liked him as a 3rd guard but with Exum, I think if they get anything for his contract, they will move him now.

According to Chris Haynes the knicks were having talks with the cavs about Henson but those talks have cooled for now.

Serviceable big, plus hes an expiring.

I also think he can be resign for a lesser salary next year too. I think he might get MLE offers so whoever trades for him can beat that with bird rights but not break the bank.
