2019-20 Cavaliers Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Fuck Irving. Fuck James. Fuck ‘em all. Most unlikeable title team in history.

irving yes. Twice during the week and three times on Sunday.
James? No. He accomplished the goal. His I Promise School is transcending. He paid his debt for leaving in 10.
Durants biggest pussy move in the history of sports stopped a dynasty. Fuck Durant and his Achilles; I cant stand that coward.
LBJ left to be in Hollywood- his next step. After that he’s simply waiting for his son to play a year or two with him.

I'm really liking this team for next year. The young guys will be more developed and hopefully we add a wing player with our first pick. Here's my all too soon lineup/roster for next year.

Garland - Exum - Delly
Sexton - Cedi - Windler
KPJ - Draft Pick - Mckinnie
Love - Nance
Drummond - Zizic

Definitely should upgrade our backup pg and backup C positions.
It will be interesting to see how having Drummond on the team next year (assuming he opts in) will affect KPJ. Is he a guard or forward? Normally you want your small forward to be in the 6'7" to 6'9" range and KPJ is only 6'4".

With Drummond and Love cleaning up the defensive glass you might be able to get away with being undersized at the other three positions. Dre and Kev are two of the best defensive rebounders in the game. If KPJ is a better player than Cedi, Windler or the draft pick, then why not start him at the 3? His jumping ability allows him to play bigger than his listed height anyway.

I could see us drafting a shooting guard if he's the BPA, like Anthony Edwards for example. Have a guard combination of Garland, Sexton, and the draft pick. KPJ, Windler and Cedi would be the wings with Love, Nance, and Drummond as the bigs. Now that would be a fun team to watch.

I don't think Exum, Delly, or Zizic are in the plans. Maybe Zizic. If Love gets hurt we'll need another big.

Exum has scored 10 points in his last three games covering 46 minutes and has not been a factor off the bench. He's under contract for another year but I think he'll be next year's Brandon Knight.

Levi Randolph had 47 points tonight for Canton. Along with 4 assists and 9 rebounds. Of course I’ve learned by reading this forum he is garbage!!

He is terrible. And he's a Klutch client. Seen plenty of 50 pt G-league performances that amount to nothing.

Nance and Cedi provided a combined 9 points last night. At least they tried huh? Is there a worse starting 3 in the NBA than Cedi?
And I'm starting to fall off the Garland train too. The writing is on the wall, he may not have the skills, should of stayed in college longer.
Last nights beatdown was tough.

Cedi is on borrowed time as a starter - so are Love and Garland, IMO. Our starting lineup next year should be Sexton, Porter, Nance, Drummond and whoever we take with what will probably be a top three pick, unless it's Wiseman.

That game was over early. They didn’t attack PG in the pnr and when he gets going it’s over for your team. I also thought they went overboard feeding Drummond like he’s Hakeem Olajuwon early and as a result key guys couldn’t find rhythm.

Hoping for Edwards in the draft.

Garland
Edwards
KPJ
Love
Drummond

Sexton
Cedi
Windler
Nance

We got too good too fast

pick is in serious danger of going to Atlanta

Canton Charge traded for Vincent Edwards. Edwards agent apparently said he will start with Canton before being a Cavalier. My guess is he will be added to the roster when Macura and Newman's 10 day contracts expire.

He's a 6-8 3 point specialist. Doesn't do much else. Kind of a poormans Dylan Windler offensivley (3 point shooting and good off ball movement) I hope he gets some burn during the next 2 months. I wanna know what the team can do with a consistent 3 point threat. Assuming it translates. Currently shooting 40 percent from deep in the GLeague.

So I am as many know a huge Purdue fan being an alumni, i know Vince's game very well.

He is not a three point specialist, he was one of our best defenders and can guard the 1-4 position, he is also a good passer and ball handler for a combo forward. I liked him allot for pro potential because of his defense and could actually some day be a useful player in a NBA rotation imo.

Maybe in college he was more then a three point specialist. But he's not athletic enough to be a true impact defender at the NBA level. Has also never really been good at forcing turnovers. He also hasn't shown much as a passer in the GLeague.

Being a three point specialist isn't a knock on a player especially in today's game. Most role players need to excel in one area and this year in the GLeague Edwards has shown to be a solid threat from three point land. If he can translate the three point shooting and the little things like off ball movement to the NBA and even be an average defender that's a win for both us and himself.

He is athletic though, i think he can defend at the pro level, the gleague has been notorious at not always developing players, his came is a compliment game, not an alpha or beta, if given a chance at the NBA his game will translate better off the bench.

Going out on a limb cavs charge team made a trade to get Vince Edwards he will be on cavs team in 2 weeks in my opinion 3 point shooting forward from Purdue I believe he is the missing piece when he was with Houston he was injured last week in g league 35 points '
