He also needs to figure out when he needs bail out so he doesn't get blocked so much. He must be one of the most blocked players in the NBA. There was one play where he had Love open in the corner and instead he tried to lay it up against two Spurs.

Yeah, whenever I watch him doing this I just cross my fingers and hope he passes out of it. That Dunk attempt was BALLS. one day he will get it and it will be glorious.

He's been better lately, but yep. He needs to have more awareness of where the defenders are.

I am really glad that more people are liking Sexton more. I really like players who work really hard and try to become even better players like Kemba, Kawhi, Butler, etc. It was fabulous to see Sexton drive at ease tonight - shows he still has potential to be even better.

Another nice game last night with 19 points, 4 boards, 6 assists and a couple of steals. Delly makes everybody better.

Did you get tired?
I expected your usual detailed post. Disappointed.
And I think you got the wrong dude too...Sexton had 26 points
Sorry, I posted in the wrong thread. And no, I didn't get tired, but I was only able to watch the 4th quarter and OT last night and I don't like to talk about what I didn't see.

Glad to see somebody noticed, thanks.

I think at this point all people noticed.
i think those who don't watch the games very frequently really appreciate it. Keep at it.

I don't get a chance to watch many games. With that said, his numbers don't look much different than last season. He the type who needs a vet PG to roll with ? If so, who fills that void full time and where does this put Garland ?

Sexton's last four games, all without Garland.

31.0 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 4.5 APG, 1.8 SPG, 4.5 TOPG on a .553/.375/.840 slash.

Sample size is obviously very small, but...

Has a lot to do with the fact that Beilein is no longer coaching as well.
Just a lot more cutting and emphasize on players strengths.
Beilein was so, so bad.

Ssshhh, his system was magical. Those damn primadonnas just never gave the old man a chance. I'm assuming every practice ended up with "Ok Boomer"

OK so on 92.3 they just said before the all star break Sexton was averaging 37 passes per game,,,since the all star break he's averaging 47 passes per game.
Sky is the limit for this kid now,,they could keep Garland on the bench the rest of the year. The team is playing way better.
