I was reading an article this morning on the signing and was blown away by this stat. Johnson’s coverage grade last year was 85.6 (4th highest among safeties). 3rd time in 4 seasons it was at or above a 84.9 grade.

In comparison Karl Joseph last year graded out at a 49.1 in coverage and Andrew Sendejo graded out at a 41.6.

talk about an instant upgrade.
 
He looks like a solid pickup for the team at an acceptable price. Now we just need two defensive linemen, a vet linebacker who can do a little of everything, and two corners that can stay on the field for 10 games in a row.
