2021 NFL Draft: Day 1

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'd be surprised if he isn't one for Jax too. Although, who knows given Urban Meyer took a 3rd down back with pick 25, according to Urban Meyer.
They gotta go defense at the top of the second though, right? They were just so god awful on that side of the ball last season.

Day 2 mock drafts

59. Cleveland Browns – DT Alim McNeill, North Carolina State: A highly mobile interior havoc wreaker who could fill a spot vacated by the release of Sheldon Richardson and thrive between DEs Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney.

59. Cleveland: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue

He’d be more of a luxury pick for a Browns offense that doesn’t use three receivers often, but while Moore is undersized he’s special with the ball in his hands. He could do some damage in a gadget role and as a return specialist with a chance to become a more refined receiver over the next few seasons.

89. Cleveland (from New Orleans): Tommy Togiai, DT, Ohio State

A stout defensive tackle who, when the play breaks wide open, can chase down a running back or mobile quarterback if need be. Cleveland needs as many run stuffers as they can get their paws on.

89. Cleveland: Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama

The Browns have already done a great job studying themselves against the run this offseason with the addition of Jadeveon Clowney. Moses gives them another strong presence as the Steelers add Najee Harris and the Ravens continue doubling down on the run. Moses looked like a potential first-rounder until an up-and-down 2020 season while working his way back from an ACL tear.

The Browns offensive lines is one of the best in football, but it's smart to keep a strength a strength with quality depth.

That SI mock is almost exactly what I'd want, except Moses.

If the Browns take a LBer, which I still have doubts they will, I don't think its going to be Moses.

I think safety is a much better option/more likely option than linebacker.

Edit:Trappasso isnt paying attention. No chance in hell the Browns take 24 year old Eskridge

I've been banging that Togai drum for awhile. He can move across the line and has a mean streak to him - deceptively athletic and great against the run. He'd have an immediate impact on this team.

Interior Defensive Lineman

After that top tier, some guys I really like on day two are Bobby Brown III, Milton Williams and Tommy Togiai.

So who are the youngest prospects left?

I want an OL depth pick today. Can’t have enough corners or OL in the NFL.

I could be in the minority here, but I think the Browns have a lot more developmental OL depth guys that they like than most people seem to think.

Alex Taylor, Drew Forbes, Nick Harris, Michael Dunn, Blake Hance and Greg Senat are all aged 22-26. Some of them played and did fine last year. Others they liked enough to sign and hold on to.

Plus they have Hubbard still. Who knows how he’ll handle the knee injury, but he can play all over in a pinch when healthy.

I like Forbes and Harris out of that group, and that might be it.

If you give me the chance to draft someone like Jenkins or Cosmi to be our new swing tackle and allow us to replace Conklin when his deal's up? I love that value. If you give me the chance to pick up Dickerson and let him get healthy and back up all three interior positions this year before stepping in next year? I love it.

I also value OL higher than most, and think that WR and DE might be more pressing needs, while OL might be something we draft a bit later.
