Personally my dislike of Secton has nothing to do with his personality, his work ethic, or his ability to score. I think he is too ball dominate and best role would be off the bench as a scoring guard, he has value but is not being put in a place where he can help the team succeed. But saying he is disliked by the team seems completely false.

I know he has some apparent value based on all the crazy projections being pushed to the media by his brand building entourage, and after having a good enough season last year that proved he at least wasn't a bust after all .
But, he really doesn't have much trade value to speak of as far as results imo, besides high expectations for future production. I think it is safe to assume he especially won't the longer he gets outplayed by Rubio.
I mean if he has trade value still since the breakout season hasn't actually took place yet despite being trash in preseason and someone hopes he is a future all star guard, then by all means move him before other teams notice his weakness' far outweigh his strengths.
Sexton has no trade value either now that his contract situation is what it is he is far more interesting as a player just not worth overpaying for if they can get him in free agency.
They really want to break them up it should have already happened, so I don't see it at all really and disagree with the idea Sexton is getting moved until further notice where Garland proved himself more or Sexton asks out.

before the draft and has not come close to reaching the same level. It was Steph saying " you aint never gonna be me"

Except "Garland has no trade value" is not true. That is the entire point.

He also could start as a guard for at least a third of the teams in the league. We do know that the Sixers wanted Garland as part of any trade package for Simmons, which by definition means he has trade value.

He couldn't bring in an All-Star, but "no value" is just a ridiculous statement

The dude that came out on top of a poll of 15 NBA executives voting on who they thought the top breakout candidate for the upcoming season has no trade value. Ok.

As much as I like Sexton, I really liked our starting lineup with Garland, Okoro, Lauri, Mobley, and Allen. The defense played good as a unit and translated to easy buckets which we did good early part of last season. Plus our offense moved around with better ball movement. I’m curious to see how Sexton does as he always improves year to year but I think Sexton would do well with Rubio and Love together off the bench. He would fit in a role to provide scoring when you need it.

I mean if anything it was the people trying to get their votes in for the 20-21 season
but it got penciled in as 21-22 smh He had a great 2nd season by comparison to his rookie season
but people are trying to make that into some great season compared to other pg's when it wasn't at all.
Garland should be a decent starter in a bad team I am not expecting anything else because
his ceiling is capped based on his low level of aggression seemingly low interest in shooting
and worse weak ass body
