I think we're talking semantics to a large extent. I'd believe that Sexton does not have a lot of "friends" on the team because he's a very intense kind of guy who seems somewhat single minded. But I also don't think he's "hated", or affirmatively "not liked", so that's why LNJ said what he did.
I'm usually not one to draw a lot from videos, but it was interesting to see how well he meshed with Barnes. I think Sexton really needs to be paired with a strong alpha type on his team to keep him going in the right direction, and we just don't have that. Nobody else really matches his intensity, so he follows his own lead. I do think strong on-court leadership is one thing we're lacking in the current roster. I think Sexton would even look better with a Calderon-esque kind of guy.
