You know, I don't think Sexton would have much of a market around the league at this point. That should tell you something. Nobody's looking to give a lot of money to a 6ft scorer who hasn't demonstrated the ability to play within a team concept on either side of the ball. In this league, that's a bench guy, as I said above.
The Cavs should be very careful not to end up bidding against themselves here. In my opinion this is a pretty critical point in time – you lay the groundwork for the team that will be led by Mobley in a few years. You don't need to muddy the waters by paying Sexton like a franchise dude.
