We don't. Who would you like to see? Just pick one and I'll cherry pick one of their off nights to counter your point. We have one of the best BP in the league. Definitely a top 10 BP. There are bigger fish to fry than this.

Not necessarily. There's a kid in Columbus that's hitting 335/394/476/870 that has stolen 18 bases, been caught twice and plays better CF defense than Kwan. I can't think of his name, but I know he's there.

Whoever he is, we don't need him. Straw is crushing the ball. Three hits in his last 32 at-bats.

Bullshit, all he needs is an OBP over .330 and he's a plus every day player on this team, and his OBP over the last two weeks is .345 so... Oh wait that's his OPS that's .345. Forgive me, carry on!

Well I'm an idiot. Of course 52 was wrong. If we win out, that's 51 games, and we have the division.

Although, I believe that technically, we hold the tie breaker over the Twins right now--so the magic number is 50, not 51, assuming that we still hold the tie breaker. If we don't hold the tie breaker, the magic number is 51.

Why are we talking about magic numbers in the second week of August?

Could certainly be the case, but he Is behind on the depth chart at the moment and likely to start the season next year. My not so bold prediction is that he’ll be in a different uniform next season…not so much wishing for that, but believing it is a reasonable possibility.
