My fear playing the Rays is Tito getting his ass handed to him by Cash, who's so good at micromanaging vs Tito, who's really bad/stubborn at it.
If Tito goes into this series continuing to hit Rosario 2nd and Naylor 4th, both over our best hitter Gimenez, Cash will match up late and put his team in better position to win close games. Rosario just shouldn't bat 2nd vs RHP to begin with, the track record/sample is clear enough. Especially now with another good LHB like Brennan in the lineup, Gimenez should bat 2nd.
Tito simply ignores it for some "team spirit" dynamic, that might or might not (I'd say it was simply talent) have played a role that got us here, but now the postseason is about short term win now moves. And batting Rosario 2nd, Naylor 4th just aren't. Cash will insert a slider heavy RHR vs Amed and the same LHR version vs Naylor....and we're all praying to somehow get to see Gimenez/O. Gonzalez bat one more time late in the game.
