Didn't think it was necessary for a show that's 20 years old (and was a cultural phenomenon at the time) but yeah I've edited it :chuckle: Sincere apologies @David. if I ruined anything.

Thanks, wasn't trying to be a dick and I agree with your original post.

Finally giving lost a try

I watched that when it came out until I missed an episode. I planned to pick up from there when they did the reruns, but either they didn't do the reruns, or I missed it again. I don't remember. I never did watch more after that.

Streaming is so much better than having to fit the networks schedule.

True Detective Season 4 just started last Sunday. It's been interesting so far. Seems like there's some ties to the first Season which can't be a bad thing.
Look up Dyatlov Pass Incident (@Jig18) and you'll notice...some similarities (id even say Season 4 practically stole the entire thing)

Reacher Season 2 just finished up on Prime the other day. Highly recommend.

For All Mankind Season 4 just finished the other week on Apple TV. It's a show based on an alternate reality of the Soviets winning the "Space Race" back in the day. Season 1 was a slow burn but it's a pretty entertaining show.

There's a Ted tv show on Peacock now. It's not as good as the movie but it's still worth a watch if you enjoyed the movie.

Trying to think of what else I've watched recently, but that's all I can think of right now.
Tokyo Vice Season 2 on HBO starts on February 8th. Season 1 was awesome.

I watched Ted. I liked it and there were some real funny moments. The thing that felt weird with it was the amount of the cast from the Orville. Sometimes it felt like an odd episode of the Orville. The feel of the show and beat of how each episode plays out really feels a lot like the Orville. Like the lesson of the week that each episode is built around is very similar to how they make episodes of the Orville.

With that being said, I enjoyed it more than the Orville and I hope they make more episodes. They seem to figure out how to make the rest of the cast funny as the show progresses.

The first two episodes of Masters of the Air, which is the 3rd mini series to add to Band of Brothers and The Pacific, was pretty good. The episodes for Band of Brothers and the Pacific seem to get better as they went on so I wouldn't put too much weight into any reviews saying it isn't up to par.

It's on apple tv because for some reason HBO pushed to develop it but didn't put it into production so they had to shop it around til apple tv picked it up.

I really liked Reacher and For All Mankind. Assumption in an investigation will kill you. ;)

Ted show is even better than the movies.

One plot hole maybe: did our favorite stuffed animal really sing the Macarena 3 years before it came out? :) (edit, before the US version came out)

Finished Mind Hunter. Masterful performance by the serial killers in the show. Especially Ed Kemper. Could watch a series that only featured him and the guy that plays Ford.

At first I thought that Jonathan Groff's performance as Ford was bad.. but as you watch the show it just seems to fit really well.

It's sad that it didn't have enough audience to warrant more seasons from Netflix. Now i'm stuck looking for the next best thing in the same genre, but probably nothing will come close.
