2018 Cleveland Browns Off Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There's a reason the Jets could only trade up to #3 and not #2. Did the Giants really want to secure Chubb?

I still think they take Rosen (and they should). He is a great fit to learn a year behind Eli and will be capable of handling the franchise for another 10-15 years.

Trading JPP was to get rid of a terrible/overrated contract/player.
I don’t think this moves the needle of what they do at 2.

The Giants new DC runs more of a 3-4 defense and a lot of nickel too. Not sure if Chubb fits that or not.

Ward wont make it out if the top ten, I wouldnt mind taking him at 4. Great player, CB1. That’s worthy.

I think ward could slip to 11 or 12 if there is a huge run on QB's. I like Ward, dont love him, but he is a talent for sure.

Chubb might have to be the pick if there because of the talent.

Nice to see the Browns still active on players like Hurns, Pryor, and Gaines

Another wrinkle here...does the fact that the Giants are looking at drafting a non-QB imply that we are probably going with Rosen? It seems like he was the QB they wanted.

Schefter insinuated yesterday that the Giants actually want Darnold more than Rosen.

Not sure if that has any truth to it. I know we've operated all offseason under the assumption the Giants preferred Rosen to Darnold.

It would be strange if they really like one but have a strong aversion to the other.

Because I have operated under the assumption that Darnold and Rosen are guys the Browns rank nearly equal.

I wonder if they see something the Browns don't.

Right, but it wasn't really based on anything whatsoever.
